Wolfenstein the New Colossus - bit of a disappointment really (perhaps a colossal one). The gunplay is still good, but suffers from the large weapons and muzzle flash making it rather hard to see when you've actually killed someone, and you die so quickly I found myself having to crank it down to easy by the second level. Must also be one of the most tonally inconsistent games I've ever played as well - it has no idea whether it wants to be a serious take on the horrors of war, or a homage to gung ho b-movies.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit mediocre compared to The New Order and The Old Blood. In spite of the rave reviews, it was shorter, more inconsistent (for difficulty and variety), and the story was way worse (which made those long ass cutscenes even more of a drag). Just a complete misfire for the series, and Young Blood looks so insufferable that I'm skipping on it.

Sonic the intercontinental ballistic missile and his pal shadow the medium to long range air-to-air RADAR guided missile.

But for real I have been playing sanicball and sonic utopia. 2 fangames that truly captured the 2d sonic experience into 3D. Yes this was motivated by the live-action sonic film.

persona 5 challenge run: hard mode for dungeons because merciless mode is bullshit, but merciless mode for bosses. up to okumura.

next run: arsene only hard mode no new game plus max social link persona 5.

i'm also attempting normal mode full social link p3p

Project Snowblind AKA the lost DE game. Its a bit on the generic side but still a decent game. What’s funny is that certain. What’s interesting is that a couple of elements from this game would be utilized in HR and MD such as your character going through the prologue as a normal guy before an accident forces him to get augs as well as augs that slows down time and grant you smart vision. There’s also elements that I would like to see in later DX games such as drivable vehicles and the ICE Pick

Been messing around in Fallen Earth, a pretty old MMORPG. Interesting game. I only checked it out because I read that it's basically been on life support for years and I always find it interesting to hop into dead/dying MMOs.

Kind of has a SWG vibe with its skill and crafting systems, and the Fallout ripoff game world is pretty neat. Combat is also pretty cool too, as you can dual wield projectile weapons and melee weapons. It isn't tab targeting but third-person shooter style with crosshairs and damage dependent on where you strike your blow. It's fun to aim up a giant scorpion with a pistol, shoot it in the head, then run up and finish it off with a knife.

They weren't kidding when they said it was dead though, honest to God there are like MAYBE 100 people logged in during peak. Worth checking out if you're bored though. It seems pretty solo friendly so far, so that's a win in my book.

Gotta say, I'm REALLY digging this game. Kind of grindy, but on point in so many ways. Not even trying to shill, it's just interesting how many good games are out there that you're not even aware of. It also makes me nostalgic for that mid-late 2000s era. A game like this simply would never be made in 2019.

I've been playing KSP lately and actually trying out the mining and refining system for once. I've got a fuel barge and the refinery in orbit of the Mars equivalents moon, and a mining station that can transport itself fully loaded to the refinery. It took a stupid amount of time since each section was individually sent but being able to have a self sufficient shipyard away from the starting planet is pretty cool. Everything is so time consuming and slow going but time flew just doing transport runs of ore and rendezvousing with the station.

Since Take-Two has become involved the development of the game has picked up a lot comparatively, its mostly mods being integrated into the game and then sold as DLC, but I bought the game when it was in alpha so I get it all for free anyway. The next update is Robotic parts so you can basically make things like the Canadarm, or the rotating part for a vtol engine, as well as transforming robots and stuff. The other part of that update is adding things on planets and moons so there are actually reasons to explore them, although it was still a little vague as to how much they will really be adding.

Just started up Yakuza 0. I've heard great things about the series and have always wanted to try it out but I've never got around to it until now.

Currently playing Tales of Berseria and I love it so far. You're playing as a chick who turns into a demon edgelord (is edgelady even a thing?) and goes John Wick against her former mentor/brother-in-law while committing acts of terrorism on the way as you team up with characters that are as eccentric as they are likable. I can't get enough of Magilou and her antics. The dove scene was pure kino. :story:

I don't know if its the combat, the presentation or the visuals, but the game gave me pleasant flashbacks of Valkyrie Profile 2 (God do I miss that game).

My plan: Order a copy of Elric of Melniborne from Amazon. The order didn't work for some reason, so I cancelled and began browing the Nintendo eshop. Found the Ace Attorney trilogy on sale, so I finally get to give those games a try.

Started the Resident Evil 2 remake. I’ve never played a single RE game in my life, but it came for free with my GPU. I’m having a lot of fun with it so far.

You'll enjoy it to be honest.

Trying to redo Fallout 4 and ESO as a friend of mine wants me to enjoy Elsewyre. Just can't get too involved with it to be honest.

First playthrough of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.

Heard it blows FF Tactics out of the water, and the story is surprisingly deep and emotional. Not too far in it yet, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Just picked up Diablo III. I’ve never cared for any of Blizzard’s stuff, but my best friend swears by this series so I figured give it a shot. It’s alright so far.

Far Cry 5. Got it on sale the other day. it's alright so far. not as good as Far Cry 3 was but it's not terrible.
