Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Since the new one's coming out I decided to pick it up again having not played it since 2015. I'd been absent from my town for nearly four years.

I initially stopped playing because it didn't grab me in the same way Wild World did. I'm still not getting the same addictive feeling I did with Wild World, but maybe that's just because I'm older and don't have the patience to wait until tomorrow for stuff to happen.

Have you ever played Hulk: Ultimate Destruction? [Prototype] was heavily inspired by it, and it holds up well today.

Nah, sadly a thing with me is, if it has an IP attached to it I generally don't care much about, I usually don't play it.

I think there was another game Prototype was inspired by. Some weird game about a Halo looking marine flipping around with a gun; don't recall the name.

Been messing around in Fallen Earth, a pretty old MMORPG. Interesting game. I only checked it out because I read that it's basically been on life support for years and I always find it interesting to hop into dead/dying MMOs.

Kind of has a SWG vibe with its skill and crafting systems, and the Fallout ripoff game world is pretty neat. Combat is also pretty cool too, as you can dual wield projectile weapons and melee weapons. It isn't tab targeting but third-person shooter style with crosshairs and damage dependent on where you strike your blow. It's fun to aim up a giant scorpion with a pistol, shoot it in the head, then run up and finish it off with a knife.

They weren't kidding when they said it was dead though, honest to God there are like MAYBE 100 people logged in during peak. Worth checking out if you're bored though. It seems pretty solo friendly so far, so that's a win in my book.

Decided to give Legend of Wukong a go. Old Chinese made Genesis game that some company bought the rights to and did an English cartridge release a few years back.

Nothing special going on here other than being a very liberal interpretation of Journey to the West. Standard turn based RPG other than the setting.

It's pretty decent and I'm enjoying it well enough, but there's some definite balancing issues when it comes to difficulty/grinding. Though I suppose that's pretty typical of the era.

Tales of Vespiria on the Xbox One - I actually am going for the full 1k gamerscore on this one, which is something I rarely ever do.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Progress is slow since I'm more busy than I'd like to be but I'm doing okay. I got past that general on the horse and I've got four gourd seeds so I'm getting closer to being able to fight Lady Butterfly.

Got through the original Phoenix Wright over the last couple of days. Had never touched the series before. I'm kind of wishy washy on it. I had fun, but I was always a couple steps ahead in all the cases, and I kept wishing that some of the cases had branching plots and differing outcomes, but that simply wasn't the case from what I could tell.

Still planning on plugging along through the games, but I was expecting to be blown away given how beloved the series is.

Decided to pick up Stellaris with the essential add-ons given that it was on sale on Steam. I don't have a fucking clue what I am doing, but I cannot stop playing. It unleashes the roleplaying autist in me. Nothing better than making a race of xenos exterminators or a race which tries to poz everyone.

Playing Persona 5 for the first time; haven't played an Atlus RPG since I got halfway through 3 around 2015. Only in June right now, but my feelings are mixed. I can tell Morgana was an attempt to re-do Teddie and Goro was
a bad Adachi retread
, so that just makes me feel a little bummed out. I had no problem with those two, but I would have preferred new archetypes. The presentation and music are excellent though, despite Lotus Juice's absence.

Blood: Fresh Supply
'coz I'm a boomer and remember the 90s

Catherine Classic
'cause I like homewreckers and puzzles

Vampyr
due to my undying love for the French dontnods

Dishonored 2
for woke points and fun

Persona 4G.

Pretty meh game to pick up after not playing much video games in awhile. Not big on the reading to playing ratio. Might start skipping.

All the characters suck bar a couple, premise is interesting enough I guess.
