I just started this football jrpg on the Nintendo DS called Inazuma Eleven. This is a strange game but it is pretty unique.

Random encounters are football matches and you control players with the touch screen by drawing their paths and directing kicks. And then there also seem to be hints of a special move system. Some of the players look like they can do crazy shit like kicking a flaming ball. Only a couple hours in so far but it seems promising. The game has a bunch of sequels and a anime so I guess it's pretty popular over in Japan.

Started Pillars of eternity 2 because I got it for a pittance at walmart, great buy. I was kind of shocked they were selling it there to begin with. Freaked out when I couldn't find my save from the first game but it was on the cloud, thank god. I just don't know if the DLC would be worth it.

Is is fun because I played around four hours of the first one and it was the most boring game I've ever played.

It seems like it'll be fun to me, but I like modern crpgs. I spent a good half hour trying to figure out what kind of character I wanted to make because its on hard and I don't want to gimp myself. I've heard this game is easier than the first one though.

Then again I wouldnt have been enthused about it if I didn't have my character from the first game since your choices roll over into 2.

Metro 2033, never played it before and holy fucking shit, this might be one of the best FPS games I've ever played.
The gunplay is absolutely amazing and every shot looks like it packs a punch, seeing how it makes the enemies react. There aren't many guns, but the ones that you get are nicely different from one another. The atmosphere and the enemy AI is really great, too. I love the setting.

I should not have waited this long to play.

Replaying the PS1 Japanese Action-RPG Threads of Fate on ePSXe emulator. I remember having a chipped PS1 back in 2004 and that was one of the games I had.
The graphics are quite different to a lot of other PS1 games, I always thought it looked more like an N64 game with the large, higher res character models, minimal textures and bright colors. It's quite fun but I feel nostalgia plays into that a lot.

Before that I played through Koudelka, another PS1 JRPG, but with a survival horror kind of style/theme. I bought this pre-owned in 2003.
The atmosphere in that game is really good, the pre-rendered backdrops are incredibly immersive.
The game could have been great, but the battle system kind of ruins it for me.
It's incredibly slow and can be frustratingly difficult at times. Some of the puzzles are a bit obtuse and it's the kind of game where if you forget to pick up one item you could get the "bad ending".

Before that... I could go on forever, but I played through Arc The Lad II, another PS1 RPG I had burned onto a disc to play on my beloved chipped PS1 (R.I.P.).
It's a fun traditional JRPG with some strategic elements, but not too hard. The graphics are all 2D, so like an enhanced SNES sort of feel.
The story and setting are quite exciting and it's set in a world with cities and technology on level with what we have today roughly.
You play as a bounty hunter who saves the world.

Before that, Final Fantasy Tactics, but we all know that game (probably) and this post is getting rather long.

The only thing I've been playing consistently lately is Girls Frontline, grinding for t-doll contracts and Cz-805s.

Final Fantasy IX on the Switch (yeah yeah I'm a soy filled bitch I know) and I'm liking it a lot. It's the third Final Fantasy game I've played since IV on the DS and VIII on the PS2 (I didn't finish it though, I ran out of memory cards.) I'm probably going to pick up Final Fantasy VII when it comes out, and wait to see if I'm in the mood for X and XII.

Same here, somehow the series went completely under my radar until a trailer for Exodus popped up. The Redux pack with Last Light was on sale on PSN and now I'm in love. Currently going back and forth between trying to get the moral ending in Metro 2033 and being fucking awful at Beat Saber.

Space Station 13: Spawned in as a Janitor and started cleaning up the blood filled hallways, people decide to start tagging the hallways so I use my cleaner to wipe it away but run out of the chemicals inside my spray to clean them with so I head to a chemist to get it refilled. I get it refilled and walk out but an explosion happens where I lose my left leg and a bunch of monkeys are wailing around the hallway stealing my janitor stuff like my mop and begin to get attack by them. I limp my way to the hospital where the docs patch me up and a guy with a horse face mask on with tourette's syndrome wonders around the hospital cussing out real loud. Next thing I know is a see a bunch of severed limbs walking around which gets me concern and then see over the radio that we have a changling problem which gets me excited but also cautious. While cleaning in the damp areas off limit to most jobs except for janitors, a girl in a mechanic suit calls me asking me for help about having to handle some gas canisters, me being a dumb idiot follows her to her place and I slowly begin to fall asleep, yeah she was the changeling responsible for all those limbs walking around. For the rest of the match, I became her servant and started attacking oblivious newbies. GG

I waited all this time for Total War Warhammer II to go on sale and it finally did last weekend.

I have been playing and enjoying it so far, even if it literally is the 1st game with different factions and map. This is why I waited for it to go on sale, since i'm not paying $60 for a glorified DLC.

The main story campaign is a lot better than the first one though.

Nelke & The Legendary Alchemists (It's like a city building Sim combined with an RPG.)

Tales of Eternia on PSP! It's definitely in my top 10 JRPGs of all time.
The characters, setting, graphics, battle system and voice acting are all very well done.
Played it when it first came out, and played it a handful of times since then. Last time I completed it was 5 years ago, so it's about time I go through it again.

The screenshots I posted make it look like the whole game is set in the forest/grasslands, but it isn't. The world of Eternia is actually very diverse in terms of design and environment.

Seriously contemplating dusting off my old PS2 and hooking it up so I can play The Simpsons: Hit & Run

I just bought and am now playing Detective Pikachu. When Nintendo announced that it was coming out I thought it'd be silly but the demo sucked me in. it's a cute fun game and the Pokemon are cute.
I was never big into the whole Pokemon thing and this is the first game I've played about it.

Space Station 13: Botanist, grew a lot of rainbow weed, helped out the chef and got attacked by sharks and spider clowns, and getting grand slammed by the Macho Man himself. Just another day at the job.

Bought a used ps3 and getting back into games I used to love
I know infamous 1 was meh. Beat it and playing infamous 2 and I forgot how pretty it was. Plus muh waifu Nix is better than Sasha waifu by far.
