Wendigoon Thread

Had a long car drive so I listened to this:

I find it very ironic that Wendigoon, the guy who got famous for doing the "don't believe the government" larp, is taking what the incredibly corrupt Brazilian government and police is saying at face value. There is a lot of weird shit surrounding the case from what he talks about, like him somehow moonlighting as a drug kingpin and nobody fucking knowing somehow, having a known crook around him for no reason he uses for executions, the crook getting off for crimes until just the right moment for a case to be built, lots of threats and violence by the police towards people involved. Or raiding the guy's house and finding ridiculously self incriminating evidence laying around for no reason.

What, Netflix did a show on how he is at fault, so wendie can't even entertain the idea the case might be more complicated?

Very good point. I'm not sure why gooner has softened on this aspect. I'm sure it's because he's afraid of his fans. But who cares? Doesn't he have enough money to not have to cater to them? Either he is a coward, or greedy, or just dumb and doesnt realize his incoherent worldview

Probably that there isn't any gains in being contrarian on the matter. It's not American enough where you can win political points by playing the blame game. Nobody gives a shit about political corruption in Brazil, and people would rather have their black and white "TV show arranged assassinations for ratings" to have a chuckle on how crazy that place is, than actually care about the truth.

Y'all are over thinking it. Wendi just couldn't find an infographic on reddit that explained an alternative theory.
