The 5/10 lb plates at my gym are shaped weird. They're kinda domed plus the weird handles on the larger plates make it so they'll roll back and off to balance since they're not totally round. I do know what trick you're talking about though.Do you guys not use the 5 pound plate trick? Just roll the inner most weight up on a 5 pound plate so you can load the weight
