Throw us some deets, man. What's it like canvassing for Brianna Wu aka John Flynt? How do you present his campaign to the average person on the street, and what kinds of reactions do you usually get?

Also real talk, I talk a lot of shit but I'm really just a fucking dog on the Internet like everyone else. Speaking for myself, you do seem like a genuinely funny dude who's kind of off-kilter but whatever, right. And also for what it's worth and again speaking for myself, I'm definitely not far right or anything close to it; it's up to you if you wanna believe that or not brother. (I have been told, however, that Articles & Happenings is chock full of anime body pillow hugging race realists though I've never bothered to check for myself and wouldn't give a fuck either way.)
 
I have never asked Brianna if she was transgender, despite reading troll threads about it. I figure that's really her business if she is, and she doesn't seem like she is. And it's kind of mean to pick on a lady for being tall and awkward.

The average person in what town? Rich person or poor? What do they look like? If they are rich and comfortable I tell them about the progressive issues and womens' rights Brianna supports. If they are poor like me in a gas station or something I talk about tech jobs and solar farms and fighting the establishment. And if they look like they want some dirt or they don't like Stephen Lynch, I go into the nasty stuff about him. But I start out with issues or jobs.
 
What tends to be the reaction of working class people when you lay out these issues? Would mind being a little bit more specific about what you might tell them?

Usually I get to know the town and/or the person first and find out what's important to them. Then if Brianna's mentioned their issue or Lynch has been bad on that issue, I bring it up. It turns out I'm more of a get-to-know-the-town-committee person and less a say-stock-phrases-at-the-supermarket person. But I try to guess what issues the person is into. Small business, jobs, unions, and of course, the establishment trying to fuck people, all those things tend to go over big with working class folks. I'm more of a gig economy basement dweller type than working class exactly, but I can sympathize over poverty and struggle. Brianna might not have lived as poor as me but she has some good ideas about what to do about it.
 
Are there some common recurring themes when you talk to working class people, though? For example, is there a lot of anxiety about something like jobs leaving the region or immigration or anything like that? What are some specific responses that you've given to common concerns you've heard?
 
What, you want me to give you all my material, lol? We just met! Thinking of running for office in the 8th? If you're progressive I might vote for ya! But yes there is a lot of anxiety!
 
Well I ain't far right but I ain't progressive either. I mean I'm basically just curious to know what your process is like and what kinds of reactions you get to Brianna/John's platform. But it's cool if you don't wanna answer.
 
@W person cow were not mad / making fun of you for not getting 2000 signatures. If anything we felt bad for you that Brianna spent over a year using her campaign to go on vacations / buy toys and decided at the absolute last minute to hire you to do it while she was playing play2win video games / buying Porsches.
 
It's such a broad question, hard to answer. It so much depends on the person and situation? I've had people get super angry, ignore me, or love it to death. It depends who they are.

Apologies for double posting, I don't know how to "edit post" yet. Stephen Lynch went on vacations too, his whole life is a vacation. He got $60 million from President Obama and others to renovate the projects in Southie he grew up in into these huge ridiculous luxury condos, while Brockton's schools go down the tubes and he totally ignores it.

Why attack a good standing democrat? Isn’t that how republicans win? A division within the party is a bad situation.

Not to mention, Hillary Clinton had the same stances as Rep Lynch during the same time he did. Why does Clinton get a pass when Rep Lynch doesn't?

I guess im most curious as to why you chose Brianna over other new democrat candidates in the general area? im guessing there are more than a few left wingers untainted by the establishment that are campaigning in the boston area, so what drew you in to Wu specifically?

Well maybe you could walk us through a standard exchange with a working class person who receives your message positively and one where the message is received with hostility? Or give us one anecdote of each?

Warren, legit question here. Why do you think Brianna is a Berniecrat? She posted endlessly making fun of Bernie Bros like you until literally the day she realized she’d have to run as one. She didn’t even delete all of the tweets if you check. What makes you think she’s genuine?

Also how do you feel about how little you get paid when she blows 100k on a Porsche. How can you see her”I can’t afford a house” sob story as genuine when she does that?

Basically there are so many clear lies. I don’t understand how you can support her when she only seems to say she believes what you do because it benefits her.

Exactly this. Basically right up until she met you her whole attitude was that Bernie Bros were basically the same people as gamergaters and were the scum of the earth. Aren't you at least a little bit suspicious that she doesn't have any principles whatsoever and she's just saying what ever she thinks people want to hear? Like with ranked choice voting, up until you pointed it out to her, I'm sure her opinion on it was "er, what's that?"

In general, why are you working for someone who is a pathological liar? Her whole pose as software engineer and cybersecurity expert is so much wishful thinking. She has a massive history of just making things up about her life wholesale. Do you really think someone with so many skeletons in their closet can get elected?

You remember that time when BriBri was supposed to be giving a speech at the Norwood Democrats, but then she called you at the last minute and told you she'd hurt her neck on the way over and couldn't come? Well, we caught her red handed in a lie, in fact she never left the house and just couldn't be bothered to go. How do you feel about her lying to you and leaving you holding the bag at an event she'd planned?

These are my questions too, and I am a progressive who has been active in the MA Democratic party since my parents were. She is not progressive. If you go back in her Facebook, last year she was blaming Bernie Bros for everything wrong with America. She was a huge Hillary supporter and is even in the Pantsuit Nation book. She has no political opinions herself and just believes whatever is popular. She has done so little campaigning, making you and her husband do everything, and has alienated everyone at the state party, even the progressive people who hate Lynch and were looking for a replacement. Talk to progressive organizers and they will tell you to stay far away from her campaign for a reason. You can do so much better.
 
@W person cow thanks for coming here and answering questions. It takes courage to enter the lion’s den. You’ll find that most of us see Brianna Wu as a liar and a hypocrite.

Do you know much about Brianna’s past employment and education? How do you rationalize callling her a “cybersecurity expert” when she’s never held a job remotely close to it or even in software engineering. Her LinkedIn profile is devoid of any jobs other than CEO of her defunct game studio. Isn’t this lying?

You're really loved around here btw. You're a true underdog story. Many of us believe you have a lot of potential, and only wish you'd smarten up and stop letting yourself be used as a pawn in Bribri's Scampaign... for which you've done infinitely more work than she has. She doesn't care about you or politics or MA-8 anymore than she did for those women she paid one whole dollar to waste months of their lives doing all the work on "Brianna's" ONE trash game... John only cares about John.

But don't just take my word for it... You've found a huge trove of documentation of her life over the past several years. Do your own research. Just don't be afraid of the answer, or one side of the question as it may be. Everyone starts on the ground. But only some of us are brave enough to admit where we are and pick ourselves up....
