Warlockracy - Potatozone game reviewer, has good Fallout 2 and Morrowind mod reviews, why is there no discussion about him?

what i like the most about his videos are how he can change the subject on a fly and talk about something historical relevant. did that alot on his arcanum and stalker video.

He's in that state where he's a lefty but he comes from a background that you'd assume would mean he's a conservative, so he's left wing but not a prissy faggot about it and is also old enough to have fully developed political opinions. He's very much like strat-edgy in those ways. Hell, the only thing you'd need to change between the two with this description is that warlockracy is a slav who's into bodybuilding while strat-edgy's an american veteran who (I think) is from the midwest.

not bad, wasn't super into the game itself but the break down of the system and general plot was solid. Excited to see his review of fallout yesterday even if someone shilling him wasn't well responded to on NMA

But I liked his old videos. He had a very high quality stuff with intersting ideas. His new videos are very fine also. In a way I'm actually happy for the guy. Some people rumored that some shady shit happened between those two. Like Egor trying to drug Warlockracy. Again, just rumours. And his fans were annoying, too. When Warlockracy wanted to end with RW YT, they started a major chimp out. So yeah, good for him. Political Youtube was never his place. Now he is happy and makes autistic videos about his favourite RPGs. What a happy ending for a lolcow.

Like literally but he keeps it to a minimum in his videos and frankly being a lefty in Russia isn't the same as most of Europe.

Idk what strats political beliefs are and frankly don't care. Real him and the threads subject don't have too much overlap besides producing well thought out videos....which now makes me want warlockery to do the Shadowrun games for a video.
 
He's pretty funny, been watching him for a while now. Some of the newer stuff though; the guy needs to lay off the politics, or shoehorning politics into the videos he makes. Fallout: The Sum felt like a very weird dive into his personal beliefs as opposed to being a review to a schizophrenic mod.
The recent scam asking to raise his friend money by literally smearing Ukraine as an active warzone, also is rubbing off the wrong way. Eastern European Sseth-alike that focuses on mods, this isn't it. He needs to stop doing whatever it is he's been doing lately and tighten up what's gotten him interesting and watchable in the first place, funny quick witted mod reviews and humour skirting on edgy..

What source? Just google РОГ PR, Кирилл Нестеров or Кирилл Нестерман. It's here in plain sight. For drama in ethno-nationalist Youtube, you need to go on 2ch. I'd give you more directions, but most sources are in Russian. I just gave a brief description of his career before Warlockracy, it's up to you to believe what is true qnd what is not, since this whole shitstorm around Kirill was very polarising and people have different perspectives.

He has a thread on Russian imageboard 2ch, you can lurk here with Google translate.

Oh didn't realize there was a thread on Warlock here. His videos aren't really reviews, they're essentially well edited let's plays with a commentary that helps describe what is going on and is occasionally mixed in with a (left leaning) Russian perspective. And thankfully his opinion on the games he plays are never as milquetoast as someone like Mandalore. Newest video is definitely way too long though.

I wasn't aware of his past, but kind of figured he must have some cowlike features based on what I saw in his YouTube bio. Regardless, his videos are good and it'll hopefully stay that way.
 
Watching his Arcanum review and got to the "gnome means Jews" rant. It feels a lot like the "Orcs are Niggers" argument, in that it says more about the person saying it than what the Devs were thinking.
Races in fantasy are different than races in real life (and "somehow" only the gnomes get the treatment of being parallels to a real race). Race mixing is completely different than making a secret breeding program for a small army, and having evil merchants is older than paper.

I'll actually give the dude credit for being right in that the Gnomes did get a few of their evil ass ideas based off of actual anti-jewish ideas and theories. Their race description also can be argued that they had that in mind. They also unironically run the largest kingdom by having killed or sent off the actual royal family to the rape factory. Though I agree they're more 'What if every one of these ideas or rumors were actually true' than just jews.

With the orcs I don't really think they're intended to be just The Blacks and that's that either. Hell there are still a large number of human barbarians who aren't all that far from Tarant so its clear just about everyone in the universe is capable of being a backwards and violent sort. Except Warlockracy very clearly has a leftist bend so he's going to of course speak out against it.

He seems to keep politics (mostly) out of his videos, except when delving into tangential philosophy he knows about. His observations in his Planet Alcatraz video of the faction struggles between russian intelligentsia and the security bureau through the cold war was interesting.
The only question I would have is that he is Russian, he's revealed enough about his personal life to say he lives in the country, he helped a friend flee to the Baltics to get away from the draft that would send him to Ukraine. How can he, as a Russian, support a left-leaning ideology like anarchism or whatever and not use the USSR as an example on how a communist state would inevitably collapse?
Although Wehraboos are a thing so what do I know. It just seems funny to me that "left-leaning Russian" is kind of a misnomer given the 70 year historical record.

My only criticism would be he didn't go deep enough into the philosophical aspects of Kotor 2. For instance, his observation of the famous beggar scene was that it was "Contrived." When it instead was supposed to teach the player that even beneficial actions can have negative unseen echos. Papito Quinn has done an entire series going over the philosophy of Kotor 2.
Other than that, I hope he covers more of the obscure stuff. Fallout mods or slavejank RPGs are a niche he expertly fills, while Kotor 2 has already been picked apart already.

To answer the Russian question part. The left im Russia are rather different thing than say in the US, here the left essentially sucks off USA's cock hardcore while shrilling how the USSR was super evil and shit, basically spoutinh the same shit that you'd hear from right wing numbnuts in America or "patriotic" fucks in Russia who enjoy sucking off the Tsar era.
 
Keep watching the videos, pretty good and never straying into cringe in politics (besides the Jew gnome thing). It's pretty fascinating the entire Russian culture is basically unknown despite being so prominent in media.

Also I find it pretty hilarious that the Fallout Tactics mod - The Sum is pro anarchism and only exists because the Canadian government threatened people with violence if they don't pay their tax money, only to give the tax money for a person who made a self indulgent mod that only a tiny niche of people will be able to understand and enjoy.

Mostly at the final part he accuses Dmitrij Puchkov of having hatred against Jewish people, when in reality what he showed on the screen was the guy calling and critiquing the Russian film industry of making really shitty movies on tax payers money.
