The Greater Blight Drone from the new Imperial Armour has Disgustingly Resilient, Nurgle's Gift, and Demonic. No details are given, only "see Codex: Death Guard". Putrid Explosion however, is typed out with the 4+ explosion rule. Also, the named Nurgle Daemons (Mamon, Cor'bax, and Scabeiathrax) have Disgustingly Resilient as well, although their note says "see Codex: Chaos Daemons".

Looks like Disgustingly Resilient is a Nurgle trait and not just restricted to Death Guard. Whether or not it can be applied to CSMs, Havocs, and Bikers through a Mark will have to wait until the Chaos Codex is released. Given there is "Nurgle's Gift", that might be the bonus from having a Mark of Nurgle.
With the fact that marks no longer cost points, I doubt that we will see CSM getting unique attributes based on their devotion to a particular god. Maybe there will be a benefit if you mark your entire army the same, GW seems to be giving 9th edition armies a lot of narrative based abilities, but the Death Guard are Nurgle's chosen, which would give them more blessings from Nurgle. Nurgle-aligned warbands like the Purge may devote themselves to Nurgle, but Mortarian gave Nurgle claim over an entire Legion of Space Marines which numbered in the tens of thousands. There will never be as many Space Marine which pledged their devotion to Nurgle at the same time. That probably enhanced Nurgle's standing in the Great Game and in return he blessed them accordingly.

Figured I'd post something here that wasn't just me whining about the state of GW, so have some Guard I painted up last night.

Edit to not Double Post: Finished up a Sentinel.

Get them under a little better light, because right now it looks like you used poop as an oil paint for them.
Well I liberally used Agrax Earth Shade, so not that far from reality. I wanted to give them a kinda gritty, dirty look to them.

Edit: I have endeavored to take a better picture. IDK, I'm an ass photographer.

I know painting guard is torture, but you should add a little something something to break up the brown a bit.
Any recommendations? I'm pretty new to painting so any tips would be helpful. I sorta like the brownish hue, but I'm open to anything.

Making more of the details on the lasguns gunmetal would help. Is this your own regiment or are you following another. Maybe adding a strip or making one of their shoulders a different color could help. adding a bit of chipping and battle damage would also help.

also highlighting some of the wrinkles in the fatigues.

Seriously though, might be worth going for an accenting colour for their weapons to add visual focus points while you have relatively few painted

Who is gonna be our Christmas day primarch guys? My money is perturabo I'd it's traitor and jagati if it's loyalist.

Those Bastards!
Any recommendations for accenting the weapons?

Black will go with anything, also a military green like deathworld forest (that's what da grots guns are) or kharki colours can be a good idea for guard and can be tied into the rest of the model by painting the same colour on pouches and canteens (with yellow i'd go green or black though).

Neat. Should I just paint over them, or repaint them all together? I had a batch of models I was going to repaint anyway, so I could just throw em into the mix.

I would hate to be one of these soldiers against Orks. Yellow explodes real good.
Wouldn't make the Guardsmen more shooty? Most orks who paint there armor yellow have more shooty shootas rather than going boom when they die.

Hmm, according to 1d4chan, Orks believe that Yellow makes things do bigger/better explosions and signals wealth. Because the ork teeth are yellow.

I wouldn't mind social justice poison pushing Khan into the lime light. He's definitely to three Primarchs for me.

It's Christmas Day Primarch a known thing or a rumor? I know they said we're going to have more for the Supreme Command Detachment by the end of the year.

Also, I hadn't seen it talked about, but Dark Imperium and Plague War is getting a minor rewrite to change the timeframe, as well as a third book. So Death Guard invading Ultrimar probably doesn't end the Indomitus Crusade and only happens a decade or so into it.

Don't really get how Jagati would be something to do with social justice poison.
I'm just making a guess at it being a primarch since they are hyping up the Xmas preview as "le big model show" and it's been 2 years since getting one.

I’m clearly behind on the Rumor mill but when did talk of a Christmas primarch begin and is it a model or short story?

I feel the Lion might be waking up. However, 2021 might be Slanneshes year if we look at AoS maybe Fulgrim.
