By the way that is exactly the type of bureaucracy nonsense that went down during the mid-Byzantine empire.

It's this sort of lore-wankery seen over the last few that makes a lot of players hate spess murines.

I know players who have flesh coloured gobbos and feudal imperial guard units based on Bretonians and everyone is cool with it.

Years ago, when Genestealer Cults had devolved into just a lore blurb, I started to model crossbow-wielding peasants and rural hunters into Guardsmen for my Cult.

It's hard to foster that kind of love for a property, and I don't think even GW knows how they do it.

I've just kicked off a 500pt imperial guard side army to support my orks, all infantry are going to be modelled from bloodbowl goblins and tbe COs will be orks with ranks like "runt'erd General" and "Runt'erd Major".

I think it's true to say most people will just get on with projects while others sperg about black ultramarines and if the trims of paldrons are that colour for the 2nd company or not, it's that sort of thing that makes me just turn off when people talk to me about the power armoured posers though.

We need to figure out the size of space marine testicles before castration. This is an important lore discussion.

I think the buggy could work if it was crewed by scouts instead of full battle brothers to show it was for recon purposes. It would also work well for a guard regiment like the Elysian drop troopers that can't field armor. That said I want to know who came up with the idea to put space marines in a go kart without it being a shitpost. I have to assume space monasteries now have tracks that they race on for chapter honors now.

Also space marines manning placed weapons seems like a waste of a space marine. How long before they make a model of a Primaris marine sitting behind a desk doing paper work in his armor?

Go look up the Rogue Trader "Imperial Commander" model.

Is Tzeentch involved? If so, there's your answer.
Unless Slaanesh "learned to code."
I don't think they ever mentioned a specific god. (Would a commisar during that time even know their names?) That whole scene is weird because they never explained how it was corrupted at all. It just was.

Does Tzeentch need to be mentioned to be involved?
He's like the uninvited guest that ate all your snacks and pulled the fire alarm on the way out while smuckling "Just as planned!"

With how vague the chaos was mentioned in the first book, it could have been fulgrim for all we know.

Look at the custodian leaks...
It's alright, nothing insane.

I think dread host(extra attacks on 6s WL trait and an extra die on charge for golden light deep strike units. and solar watch(speedy speed boys) seem to be the best of the set.

However giving all your custodians sword and board might be a amusing meme build for aquilon shields.

The emisarries look to be exclusively a host for when you bring Custodes with something like IG since they buff morale.

Shadowkeepers debuffing strength from things in interesting.

The strategems are kinda boring. My favorites being 1 cp to make a unit with a machine spirit auto explode or attack on death, and the other making a dread take half damage.

The shield commander thing is just there to make your shield captain on dawn eagle jetpike more of a powerhouse.
