I made my meme list. obviously my taste is correct.
Hard disagree with Revenant being "overrated" considering how many times Mesmer Skin has saved my squad's collective ass for things like EDA/ETA and SP Circuit carries, but bretty good otherwise.

I'm pretty sure Sevagoth was even my first Prime frame in general, and he's also been my main for months now. Then again, a few months is how long I've been playing for in general.

literally all he does!

His 4 can actually do some decent damage now that armor scaling isn't completely retarded and broken.
That said, his main gameplay loop of entralling enemies, hitting them with your Reave, and doing that over and over was always terrible.
If youre asking me i not even think mesmer skin is that captivating. the reflection is cute, but the real reason is to be a not die button. Rhino has iron skin and its essentially the same shit at the end of the day, yet rhino also has other skills that are somewhat useful... and of course roar.

I'd classify either him or Hildryn as the Torid of frames.
Aww man, I like Hildryn, Before Aegis Gale became a thing I used (and continue to use) this build that swapped out her 4 with Voracious Metastasis (sacrifice some energy to provide energy regen for your teammates): since all helminthed ability energy costs get multiplied tenfold on her, this results in stupidly high energy gain while Hildryn has no problem getting the shields back.

People overlook how OP Reave can be

The entire problem with Reave can be summarized with "it's 2026, what are you doing here?" It requires way too much work, far too much investment, and an excessive amount of effort to do what most other frames can accomplish by casting two abilities. Maybe in the pre-Jade Shadows dates of Warframe, you could make the case for Reave, but that is simply not the case anymore.

Took a break right after the 1999 patch dropped and started getting back into it again, killed the Kuva Lich I forgot I had, then did a single mission in the 1999 area and immediately got one of the new ones by accident. I'm guessing you kill this faggot the same way as Liches and Sisters? I really wish there was some way to opt out of that mechanic, it's fun and has some nice weapons but it's intrusive as shit, I hate having part of my starchart cucked and some asshole quipping at me every time I log in.

Literally just make an "I'll pay you 100 platinum to fuck off." item, please D-E.

Kind of, but it's actually a lot quicker and perhaps easier than a Lich or Sister. You use a different sort of "Antivirus" mod from 1999 rather than any of the Requiem murmurs, and you don't have to do the grinding in advance to reveal which one is correct.

And yes, it's only one that you need to find at random rather than a sequence of 3, but you do then need to stab multiple times with the same AV mod. The other two slots can just be the "Potency" mods that speed the whole process up a bit and give you more progress per stab, plus some extra bonuses. Then it's the railjack fight as usual, which is admittedly more cancerous than the Lich/Sister confrontations but still doable.

The end result of all of this is that you get a new currency to buy a weapon from arguably the strongest overall collection of Adversary weapons so far. From what I hear, some Coda weapons like the Bubonico are fucking mental. Basically, just do it.

Reave used to be by far one of the easiest ways to kill Liches no questions asked when they came out.

Warframe is such a strange game to play. I maxed out my Excalibur, its ultimate ability, I've got Level 30 in like two swords and maybe 25 on a sidearm and the default auto rifle. I've been filling out the planet map slowly, I'm having some modicum of fun... but Destiny 1, at least 25 hours in when I first played, had me handling House of Wolves and very early Taken King content, maybe an Exotic from Xur if I was really lucky. With Warframe, so much crap is buried behind the star chart and the main objective quests have been overhauled like a thousand fucking times since the game launched in 2013. Moment to moment gameplay is fun... but I kinda don't have any real hook. At least D1 when I first started with Taken King had strikes, patrols, gunsmith bounties, faction rep bounties, pvp bounties, daily missions, and so on. It scratches a similar itch, it's arguably superior in multiple ways to D1 and especially the nightmare that D2 launched as and ultimately metamorphosed into. But it doesn't quite spark joy despite the fantastic gameplay.

Apparently 60% of players give up before the first two hours if the steam achievements are anything to go off. I ain't asking for P2W boost items, but like... some grimoire cards, quest tabs, lore notes, maybe a compendium or two would go a long way here.

I think you need to enjoy the basic space ninja gameplay loop at which point the star chart just naturally gets chipped away at over the course of days, you aren't really trying to reach quests at that point, unlocking the star chart is the main course and merely unlocks additional enemy variety and new resources as you go

Naturally they have neglected this part of the game in favor of retarded gimmicks for about 10 years now and I stopped playing (although i have like 1000 hours in over the many years, and still have a gradivus mug)

The best parts of Warframe were when you were sitting in an hour-long defense idling because someone was using a macro or channeled power to obliterate the map and level your shit.
