Only the person itself can decide if being a virgin is a bad thing. Contrary to conventional wisdom, people don't care if a person hasn't had sex just because the fact exist. If they appear to care, it's because either they grow up in a shitty culture that demands forced marriages (like many Muslim-majority nations) or more likely, because the virgin brings up the fact all the time and makes a huge deal out of it.

If being a virgin is such a huge concern, then the person needs to make the effort to lose it. If not, then either wait for a relationship or accept that sex isn't necessary to be a happy person.
