Accessibility: The overall terrain is pretty flat, but there is a bit of an incline (best guess: 3 or 4% incline) as you make it from the bottom of the site to the top. However, all scheduled activities take place in the same building as the sleeping quarters. The building we'll be using is accessible, and has a ramp. There are no stairs to the entrance of the dining quarters. There is a set of stairs (20 steps) to the main sleeping quarters. There is a limited number of beds on the ground floor that are reserved for people who need ground floor access. There are electrical outlets near 5 of the beds. Those spaces will be prioritized for folks with CPAP machines.
Here's a gem from her description of Camp Thunder Thighs. (Emphasis mine).
We’re starting a camp to teach you that being your size is healthy and natural! Now who brought their special medical machines that keep them from suffocating under their own weight and dying in their sleep? Here's a gem from her description of Camp Thunder Thighs. (Emphasis mine).

Also I looked at the schedule and I DON’T want to know what “jigglecize” is.
Realtalk, what if a bunch of skinny women signed up? Or even just one? Would she kick them out for not being body positive enough, or because they might hurt the other campers’ feelings? Or would they just be restricted to not talking because their thin privilege means they don’t have anything to contribute?
Oh, honey, you know anyone approaching a healthy BMI would be completely ostracized. Besides, anyone approaching a healthy BMI wouldn't be interested. We’re starting a camp to teach you that being your size is healthy and natural! Most people know that the whole "fat acceptance" thing is bullshit. Not to powerlevel or anything, but ask anyone that's not on tumblr or instagram what they thing about fat acceptance. 90% of the time, they will think it is insane. All of these fat activist think that they are changing the world, when in reality people just laugh at them.Oh, honey, you know anyone approaching a healthy BMI would be completely ostracized. Back to the topic of this "woke" community, I won't go into my personal politics or anything like that, but I will say that my personal philosophy is to just not be a piece of shit...unless I'm on here. I try to teach my kids to be respectful and kind and helpful. I'm not sure where that takes a turn into 'let me scream at you what you're supposed to believe and if you don't agree with it then you're a horrible person who shouldn't exist' territory. I've lived in areas with high diversity and I've always gotten along just fine without having anyone lob accusations at me and I've cultivated some wonderful friendships so I get this whiff of narcissism and shit stirring drama from these folks. These people just give me a headache. I can't imagine wandering around each day looking for a new outrage. There's enough shit going on in the world and in life in general that I don't need that shit. I come on here to spectate and comment, but at the end of the day what these folks do isn't a factor in my life. Our cows are our entertainment, nothing more, nothing less.
When I first heard about Fat Acceptance, it made sense to me--because you have to both accept that you're fat and accept (or love) yourself before you're ready to lose weight. Most people know that the whole "fat acceptance" thing is bullshit. Shit man, you'd be surprised how many people on tumblr laugh at TITP and all that. The average person on that hell site, while do start to believe certain lies FAs tell them, at the very least don't think obesity isn't unhealthy. Most people know that the whole "fat acceptance" thing is bullshit. That whole “movement” is ridiculous. If you have legitimate health conditions preventing you from being a normal human size, fine. No one with a shred of empathy would look down on you. The problem is that none, not one of these folks shrieking HAES have any condition other than greed and gluttony. Hell, there are many, many women with PCOS which is known to contribute to obesity are average sized because they take care of themselves. I can’t feel sympathy for that nor should that be a protected class. They are actively choosing this lifestyle and it is a lifestyle so if they are judged for that, so be it. They love to act like being a glutton is akin to being gay. It’s absolutely not.If you ask anyone outside of “internet people” what they think about fat acceptance they’d probably say “what’s that?” I don’t think FAs have made a real cultural impact outside of niche corners of the internet. The closest they’ve come is putting plus sized models in ads and shit but the average normie doesn’t associate seeing a fat person on TV with HAES.
Jade Valentin made a video about the fat pool party disaster. Jade is a lesser known fat activist, for those of you who are wondering who she is.

For as ugly and narcissistic and insane as Virgie is (pathologically so), this Shrill debacle really showed the true colors of Lindy West's sister-in-law, Ijeoma. She fucking called Virgie "lightskinned" as a silencing tactic, lmao. Ijeoma is half-black with quarter-black nieces btw, so this seems like a hypocritical landmine. Ijeoma also threw a fit last year when a white lady got attention for a book about racism that was competing with her book about racism.
Everyone in the woke realm is an entitled, weirdly racist asshole.
Not only that, Ijeoma’s own children are only a quarter black.
She was raised by a white mother in uber white Seattle and has a white ex-husband and nearly white kids. Her brother has a white ex-wife and a white current wife (Lindy West). I’ll put money on both Ijeoma and Aham having 90 percent white friends, and I don’t blame them for that. Their actual cultural milieu and allegiance is with white people because of their mother, where they grew up, and the fact that they’re upwardly striving (there are very few well-educated black professionals in the Pacific Northwest, it’s not New York or Chicago). But this means Ijeoma isn’t any kind of an expert on being black in America.
