Just hope that he comes back for his birthday. It'd feel so empty and strange without him on not only his birthday, but the Vinesauce Anniversary entirely.

Well, maybe not pretend, but a simple "Welcome back, Vinny. Glad to have you back." is subtle enough and good way to show support. 🙂

I only hope this break is by choice and not out of legal obligation or some other factor. If the former is true then good on him and I hope this means he'll take vacations in the future that last more than two days.

I do wish we had some kind of indication of how long this is going to be though because the uncertainty is killing me a little.

Regardless of how long it'll take, I think the best thing we can do is bind our time. If people close to Vin say he's okay, that's all we have to go off of. He'll figure things out, and us worrying about it won't make him come back any faster.
In the meantime it's a great time to catch up on old VODs and stuff, been rewatching Tomodachi Life and it's comfy as I remember.

Whether he's doing it by force or choice, I hope he's not going stir-crazy. When he comes back from said two day vacations, he usually says how he just missed streaming that whole while, it's just a part of him.

Sadly I think this situation is probably left him feeling less antsy about coming back so soon. I'm gonna guess that he'll be back before the charity stream as to not taint the it with it also being his return to form after a major controversy but I still expect this will be a sizable Vinny drought. The guess I'd put money on is that he's not gonna return on a Sunday or even a Saturday, I think he'll want something cozier and humble so something like a Monday return and play something like Rim World or Loop Hero.
 
Now I'm just speaking totally hypothetically and in theory but do you think when Vinny finally comes back for a stream do you think any chat member would dare to @Vinesauce Creeperinos

and if so, do you think that would be an instant ban? its strange to think what the future lies and how careful Vinny needs to be with everything from here on out :(

Same here. There are just two programs that I prefer using above all others, open source or not, that kept me on Windows despite my wishes. Ended up finding out my laptop had a slot for an additional HDD, put Loonix on it, and now I can have the best of both worlds. Life is good.

Apparently Simpleflips wanted to be a psychologist at some point. He mentions it here and there, and it's definitely apparent in the way he says that he wants to "see into the minds" of level/mod creators. It kinda unnerves me, but I'm not really in any place to judge his interests like that. As for the part of him and his friends being awkward, they're just one of those friend groups that live and die by running in–jokes. That's why it's sometimes so hard to parse their humor.

My favorite long running joke is lying about things like in their Tetris PS1 race about some baseball minigame.

I think it's his tone of voice, his minor lisp, and appearance combined with his clear way of speaking and lack of stuttering.
 
heyo, lurker here. update from jackal on one of the discords. same vein as their reddit post earlier, but i thought it might be good to share this on here too.
nice to hear he's getting some fresh air at least.
