Anyone can go to a bar to meet people, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're good at socializing in the process. A good chunk of the stream was him being a wallflower and/or trying to reach for the pizza, while everyone else was more involved with each other. I will say that he did eventually warm up to most people by the end of the stream, but he's lying to himself if he's saying he didn't feel out of place at all during any of it.
It's kind of hard to to interact and converse with people when everybody's trying to do a different bit at the same time.
being weird around one's own obsessive fanbase (and furries) is different than hanging back a bit to get to know some people before you jump in.
It feels like the stream's 10th anniversary just came and went without much fanfare. A lot of that could be due to covid but it still kinda stinks that we don't really have much to show for such a milestone. Part of me wonders if it's because the Vinesauce community and content from that early era would be considered "problematic" nowadays. Case in point, this post of the old blog shared on the Vinesauce subreddit was deleted by the mods.
Vinny's been known to take down old stuff in relation to vinesaucevidya on his own, but it's probably because he doesn't want new people in the community digging into things that might be considered "problematic" now, or running into old drama. It's a shame he even has to do that though.
Vinny objectively had a girlfriend in the past. If you don't know the story about the Whip, Dildo, and Facemask, you're pretty new.
