It's funny seeing some of those comments in that video. Wonder how many uptight people would stop watching Vinny if a lot of his older content resurfaced.

Maybe not as many as you would think and even then, I've seen people who seem like total moralfags/politically corrective types in the community be seemingly fine with the older vids.
(or are aware of them and don't mention anything)
They'll just be like "oh he's learned from then, it was a different time on the internet", that kind of thing. If anyone actually went out of their way to make a stink about it, they probably aren't well liked by the community anyways.

While I definitely think he was more than old enough to know better in the old days, since he was in his mid 20s when his streaming took off, I honestly do agree that it's pointless to try dredging up old shit with the express purpose of dragging him through the mud. That sort of thing is only relevant if it's indicative of a still-existing pattern, but as we've clearly seen, he's cleaned up his act and avoids slurs and such like the plague. That's not to say he doesn't use similar language in private, but honestly, it's not our business if he does unless he's attacking other people - and even if someone did bring it up with the intention of calling him out, it would be very easy to say, "Yes, I used that sort of language when I was younger, but it was very stupid and I wish I'd never done it. I've been working for a long while to improve myself, and I've made some great strides, and will continue to work at it." Bam, crisis averted.

Although, that reminds me: I rewatched that Drunk CSGO highlight the other night (yes, I'm aware I have a problem :story: ) and noticed a comment from 6 months ago (so probably from around the end of April/beginning of May) that was timestamped at the spot where Vinny's heated gamer moment occurred in the original version of the video. I made my post mentioning the bit being cut in June or July, I believe, so not that long after this comment was posted. Do you think Joel saw that comment on the video, checked it out, and cut it once he realized what it was? Or perhaps that person was the one to bring the bit to Vinny or Joel's attention? Very interesting food for thought.
 
I'm too lazy to upload a clip but chat invading Joel's "secret" poll while he screams NOOOO NOOOOO and the Back to the Future music plays is the hardest I've laughed at anything on Twitch in a long time

I found a version of it that was archived years ago here. But if you've downloaded and clipped it, that's even better, honestly.

The weird meter (and content) of the song makes this animation borderline experimental.

I knew exactly what this was going to be and i was still excited, idk why “I CALL THA PIZZA PLAAAAAACE” is so powerful to me
Seeing someone actually drawn in a non overly-stylised way in zeurels animation was cool, i love Him
