I'm not sure if Joel was planning on Sims 4 tommorrow but Sims 4 had a huge update (adding ladders, firemen/repomen, changing how Bills work, revamping the inventory, adding effects to the floor/wall to make them more flammable etc.) I feel bad for the Moderator who has to handle that.
I enjoy Sims 4 but big base game updates tend to break every fucking thing. Oh and custom maps are broken.

Sometimes I feel like EA only updates Sims 4 specifically to break people's custom content. Looks like we're gonna have yet another vargTech moment going on when he inevitably picks up S4 again without knowing about the update!

On that subject, I really wish some no lifer Vinesauce fan out there would make a compilation of highlights from every vargTech incident in the last couple years. That fucking video would be over an hour long, and I would watch every minute of it.

Over an hour is very generous of you, it'd probably be 10 and even that is considerate since basically every single stream has at least 15 minutes of vargTech.


Also, about Sims 4. I feel kind of bad for Kirillian (the moderator) because Joel can be a bit over the top when he talks about him (like "this dude can just code anything in 20 minutes") because Kirillian said multiple times in chat that he only knows very basic C# and copy pastes most of the shit which is why it crashes and some of the Meme House map is now in Russian lmao. But Joel just decides to ignore his important messages in chat.

I hate ea as much as the next guy, but they do patch things, add things and in general the updates do have a use, but they do break 80% of the mods. It's always been that way for the Sims.
I don' think Joel's folder is huge, most of the mods he has, I have so a great deal of them may not be fucked and are already updated. I hope the Moderator knows about the patch or the stream may be fucked.
I kind of wish the Mod had someone else to help him.
I wish Joel knew how much he could do. Like using get togeather to make a cult, making more custom holidays, using more of the Hobbies/skill items, building a store and selling weird shit etc. There's so much fuckery he can do with the DLC he has. I hope he finds out eventually.
 
This morning/night's great Vinny moment: him linking that 5 dollar racial justice bundle and later laughing his ass off at some of the low effort trash that was included. Like he said, he's definitely going to have sunday stream material for a while.

There is Vinesauce Obscurities channel, but it mainly hosts streams as early as 2014, which is a little late, I suppose, and there are also short clips on Joel's main channel. Otherwise, it seems that there are only a few separate uploads scattered across YouTube, do a search for "chatango" in this thread to find some of them.

What can also be a holy grail impossible to find is pre-Vinesauce Joel streams. He mentioned doing first attempts at streaming back in 2008, two years before Vinesauce was founded.

Honestly, not really as far as I know, though unofficial and official clips exist and this channel https://m.youtube.com/user/Shadowmaxim has quite a few, if you look hard enough you can find some channels will full streams from back in the day. Plus Vinny has some classic streams on his channel. Overall anything around 2014 and after is covered well, before that it’s a crapshoot.

Edit: Joel also has some really old vinesauce group clips on his channel too.

Vinny has the VineClassics playlist, which seems to contain a great deal of pre-Twitch VODs. Because of the way streams worked back then, you had to have Chatango open in one tab and the stream itself open in another, so it's very unlikely that any of the VODs will actually have Chatango visible and readable, but it's still from the same time period.

Vinny has also implied in the past that he has some recordings saved that are even older, potentially some of his earliest streams, but that he has no plans to upload them due to their quality (or lack thereof :story: ). At a cursory glance, the oldest VODs in this playlist seem to be from 2012, around 2 years after he started streaming - that's quite old given how long he's been streaming.

There's also VinesauceVinebits, which, though sparsely populated, has some pretty fantastic short clips (including one from Hootey, shockingly; should tell you how old the channel is). If memory serves, Joel actually runs this channel, but hasn't used it in god knows how long. By the same vein, DemEngineerz used to semi-regularly upload highlights that didn't make it to Joel or Vinny's main channels, and he was most active during the Chatango days. There's some really great clips in here - The Fall of Frooby is a personal favorite - and there are also some highlights from Fred, Hootey, and Rev in addition to the Vinny and Joel ones!

Old Joel VODs are particularly hard to find, though, since he's not as consistent with uploads as Vinny. If anyone is able to find old VODs from any of the streamers, please upload them - we could stand to archive that information.
 
I would think he'd vet them off-stream first? cause glancing at the list a lot of them are fetishy- games where you play as a fat enby. The one Vinny pointed out in the video I get the feeling will still have trans shit shoved in. and if any toppings = "trans rights" he'll never mention whatever topping was that again.
But no matter what there's gonna be at least 1 cryblog post about how "mean" Vinny was that Vinny will promptly ignore


And Kaze just released this which I hope would take up a nice chunk of Sunday stream?

Yeah last time I remember using Vinesauce centered chatango was on the old vineyard, that Shadowmaxim channel I linked has some full streams with chatango.
 
Joel's Mario Kart 8 stream and the new section he introduced for Saturdays kind of reminds me how many times he's done that now.
Like Tuna Tuesday, Silly Sunday and LEGO Friday that just kind of vanished being the best example.
Someone should create a list of all the sections that he created for specific days of the week that he then just kind of forgot about because it must be over 15 by now. :story:

The fishing game segments were by far my favorite. Really reminds me of the shitty fishing tournament game I played when I was 4 or 5. It's a shame it came and went as quick as it did.
 
While Joel's chat is not nearly as autistic as Vinny's if Joel even sounds like he hates it, it'll be attack helicopter apology all over again

The only accurate one is Freddy Mercury, they are climing its a "shitpost" but that's what all trenders claim "its a shitpost/joke calm down hetty uwu/lul look at all THE STRAIGHTS getting mad uwu"
