If he plays it, my money is on him starting the game up to an already set up island. Just handwaving it as having already started playing off-stream on his own, due to not wanting to stream every play session.

Me too honestly. I think it's due to several different factors;
There's too many singles on the album that people have already heard, so only about half the album is new material. Second, the singles that were put out don't really reflect how the album was going to sound accurately, and also Vinny said it was going to be a more "heavier" album. I expected it to sound something more like Remember and Clone Me. Third, the album took two years to come out, so I think there was a bit of hype building up that didn't pay off very well.
 
Yet another night where I notice Joel is live too late and I missed the good part and arrived to him being in the middle of gay shit like Deltarune.

He really is Jerma if Jerma didn't put in any effort or credit his chat for being half the success. Considering the only reason his band isn't dead in the water (which it is) is also his fans.
 
The other stream Vinny did about obscure animation felt more like an animation history class than actual highlights of obscure stuff, but i still enjoyed it a lot, so i am happy we get more of these.

However, now every single stream is exclusively in either Arabic or Somali, and there is a mandatory 'MUCF-funded' two-hour segment dedicated to "International Gay Minority Rights" during the mid-stream break. They aren't cut in the VODs uploaded to YouTube either. On the plus side, there are a lot fewer TikTok-adjacent Zoomers in the Twitch chat due to the language change. So it's a give and a take, I suppose.

Modern-day Vinny Streams can be quite enjoyable when the stars align, and he's given a segment that requires a bit of genuine contemplation or discussion that doesn't get ruined right off the bat by the chat due to [Culture War™] related shenanigans and general tip-toeing. Though those are few and far between these days. And even finding one of those in the VOD backlog I've accumulated over the past few years is gonna be a chore. Who knows, maybe I should just be one of those 'highlight-only' viewers because the idea of having to sift through them all is not a palatable one to me at all. Thank the lord for fan 'highlight' videos. At least the ones who aren't babbling schizophrenics and know what good video 'highlighting' even is.
