Still surprised Joey hasn't bought a house or a condo or something. Even after his last move he confirmed he still rents his apartment. He has money and makes good enough regular income to buy property in the Swedish shithole he lives in.

The longer he waits the harder it's going to be to get a house. Sweden takes in about 80-90,000 immigrants a year which is a lot when their population is only 10 million.

Which is why it would be make sense for him to just rent as cheaply as possible and just wait for his inheritance. Hes constantly had to deal with new neighbors coming and going and at times timing his streams for when they're not around so he can do his bits so hes probably at some shitty place with thin walls crammed with other swedes. Theres no way he cant afford to rent a house or some cabin so not to deal with that so makes sense hes just being frugal and sits on his money to save or do big trips.

Getting offtopic here, but now i'm 100% sure Hotline Miami was heavily inspired by Ikiki's games. If anybody is interesed i recommend looking up Hakaiman and Nikujin, both are worth playing.
