Vinny is done with Prime 4. I skipped to the end to see his overall thoughts on the game. On the negatives, he called the writing "abysmal dogshit" and for positives he "liked the controls"
"Some of the worst shit I've ever seen. I've got trench foot, and mustard gas is stuck in my hair. I can't see out of my left eye, and I'm pretty sure my brother just got hit by an artillery shell. So yeah, I give this a rating of 7/10."

From what I can tell, people like the game when it plays like a Metroid Prime game, and they didn't like the retardedly written dialogue and all the weird pointless shit they added like the "open world." So at best, it meets the standards of Prime 3 and at worst, it's still not as bad as Other M.

The biggest flaw of the game is the level design. Every single area is basically a straight line with zero exploration or branching paths. I hesitate to even call it a Metroidvania.

I've never understood why people like (do they?) Simpleflips
Personally, I enjoy Simpleflips' style of humor. His editors, Matt and Nolan, also add a lot to the videos. Most importantly, however, is that you can actually call Simpleflips a "professional gamer" because he actually plays games well, which is a breath of fresh air compared to the dogshit gameplay you get from Vinny and Joel sometimes.

No where is this more evident than comparing Simpleflips' Mario 64 Maker competition and Joel's Doom mapping competition. Simpleflips can actually play difficult levels and provide entertaining commentary, while Joel seems to barely pay attention to what's happening on screen while rambling about fucking nothing, like fast food. The only relevant commentary Joel gives during the Doom mapping competition is when he's complaining about the levels, lol, and of course he always gives the levels disingenuous praise once they're done.

What's up with people in the comment section calling Simpleflips a nazi and abuser?

Possibly because he's a sane and decent human being and not a complete screaming psychopath like them.

This is late, but you know what, I have to give simpleflips credit for publicly disavowing executing your political opponents on college campuses. I kind of assumed a guy who sells rainbow keyboards would be in the "kill em all and let Science sort them out" camp.

This all despite the fact he still kisses the tranny ring- oh no, he didn't kiss it ENOUGH. Off with his head!

His response to tranny seething and as far as I can tell his last word on the matter:

I genuinely can't think of another moment where Vinny expressed massive disappointment after finishing a game he was anticipating for years, Prime 4 is a first for the pizzaman.

Has Vinny done a good playthrough of anything lately? I don't think I can watch the guy anymore but I used to enjoy him a lot. Even last year I remember that insanely translated game set in a school made me laugh so hard. But now it just becomes background noise or I only watch for a little bit.

I used to come here to complain about trannies too so I actually stopped using the chat. So I use his Fullsauce channel on YouTube. But I think that worse because the ironic shitty meme thumbnails turns me off. And then I realized some thumbnails today I thought were shitposts were him sincerely reacting to whole ass shitty movies lol. Which seems so weird even for Vinny after all the commercial streams so I had to post about it.

I'll tune in to the sunday streams every now and then, but for the most part I find it hard to watch Vinny nowadays. I think I'd rather get spikes jammed into my toenails than suffer through another stream where he plays like shit and barely focuses on the game.

I just tune into Vinny for weird segments like commercial chaos, paintings, sea life, etc. which is fine by me idk maybe I've grown out of gaming livestreams.

I can't commit mentally to watching him play all of the way through many parts of one game and I think most other people feel the same way given how few views multi-part playthroughs get on the Fullsauce channel vs one-off meme videos or Sunday streams.

I really like the commercial chaos or weird shitty romhacks that he plays still but you'll never catch me watching "Metroid Prime 4 Part 6" with a thumbnail of smiling Vinny in front of the logo

How much do you guys think Johnny gets paid? I know he doesn't pay any of his mods (lol they do it for free) but I know he pays the guy who handles all the edits and fullsauce uploads.

Not sure about Johnny, but according to a comment he made on a Reddit post the highlight channel isn't worth it unless videos consistently break 50k views due to editor fees. Couldn't tell you what that translates to in terms of cash in terms of ad revenue and whatever these days, though.

The full sauce twitter account is based in South America so whatever pennies hes getting in USD probably makes up a large percentage of the GDP of whatever 3rd world shit hole he lives in. He also does the same for Limes and other vtubers/streamers out source to 3rd worlders too for probably the same reason.

The FF16 stream comes close. He won't outright admit it, but to me, his buyer's remorse spending $500 on a paperweight for, initially, just 1 game has never been stronger. He was undecided at first, then really interested to play it and all the hype was starting to get to him, but reluctant to buy a PS5 just for that and said any game on it he had interest in got ported to PC. Also at the time, FF7 Rebirth wasn't announced quite yet and he thought he should wait, thinking it might skip a console gen.
When 16 ended up being a repetative, mediocre slog, he sounded tired by the end.

Any Kiwis have VODs they like re-watching every now and then? I tend to go back to Joel's stream of Town With No Name after a shitty day at work. Rollerskating Abraham Lincoln always gets a kick out of me after a few beers.

I used to put on Joel's Windows Destructions and BBQ Quest as background noise all the time.
Yeah, the Windows Destruction always put me in a good mood.

Seeing people dick around with old OSs is a comfort food of mine, so you only enhance that tenfold with Joel being the one to do it.

For Vinny it was his Shitty Mario and Sonic fangame streams.

I've found I get far more enjoyment from rewatching videos I already know I like than watching 95% of Vinny's current content. I've rewatched several of his series in full but can hardly bring myself to finish a single 2025 stream. While it's probably mostly my autism at play, I do believe his quality has greatly decreased in recent years, though there's still a few recent ones I've actually enjoyed and revisit every now and then. His videos on School Days, Hard Time 3 and Hack and Slash Fury were instant classics for me and make me laugh like an idiot. A semi-recent series I like to rewatch is his short playthrough of GTA San Andreas. It's one of my favorite games so it's nice to see him react to all the cool stuff in it (just play the full game you bastard). I think the one I've watched the most (like 3 or 4 times) is his Banjo Kazooie playthrough, another one of my favorite games. I've also watched Joel and Mike's playthough of it like two times each. I've also been meaning to rewatch Joel's Meme House and GTA IV streams, but haven't found the time to do so.
