Usually when a Youtuber becomes disillusioned with their career and tries to pivot into something else (usually music, I’ve found), I find it sort of annoying and pathetic. But that’s because those people usually a) don’t have any talent and b) act frustrated when their sudden change isn’t as successful as what they got famous doing. I think Vinny is different because he actually has talent and is realistic about what brings in the money. I really hope Red Vox becomes successful to the point where he can comfortably invest more time into it than streaming (assuming that’s something he’d want).
 
He's mentioned before that regardless of what happens with his music, he enjoys streaming games too much to let it go entirely, even when asked if he would ever consider retiring as a streamer. I wouldve been happy if he kept to fewer streams to allow more time to focus on music or whatever else if needed. He's leaned back into a more active streaming schedule even on top of regularly practicing with his band, so I guess he can't stay away from it for too long. And this is evident with the extremely short vacations he takes. He gets bored and wants to stream.

Beyond any kind of passion, I reckon his post-accusation "hiatus" may have cemented in his mind the fact that streaming is now his primary way of paying the bills, and that it's been so for quite a while.

It's not something that he can let go of lightly.
 
I'm not famous, but I imagine it feels pretty good for the ol' ego to have a legion of people that want to watch YOU specifically play video games. I don't think I'd give that up either, even if my main income came from something else.

You could just google it instead of asking here. That might give you some answers. I think VR being used for mental health applications is only a fairly recent thing though. But who knows. Googling VR therapy brings up a ton of stuff, so I guess its not too out there.

I guess it's pretty easy to miss if you don't interact with the community at all and are a Fullsauce watcher (because who the fuck actually wants to look at YT comments).

It's pretty easy to avoid if you're just there for Vinny ONLY. He doesn't talk about it at all really, unless things have changed recently.

I do not watch the streams live and haven't since like 2015. I only watched the youtube uploads but I haven't actively watched for a few years now. I know vinny tries to keep his streams apolitical and whether the trannys believe it or not lgbbq shit is inherently political so vinny never brings it up. I guess he always had faggots watching him but trannys are more bold than ever to express their fetish at every opportunity possible these days.

I'm both of those, this thread is the closest i've gotten to touching the Vsauce Community.
