Well, there was a shoddy Half-Life 2 Source collab that had a bit of drama. An entry by Xinus22 was particularly egregious and imo ill-suited that both Vinny and chat dogged on which upset weebs in the comments. It was nothing but a loli robot talking at you for close to an hour and it was the second to last map.

I really don't see how this Persona mod is LE BAD somehow compared to any other high-effort purely Vinesauce related games or mods like the RE2 mod, Vinerealms, Vinemon etc.
I read the mod page a bit and they're putting in a "no story" pure dungeon crawling mode, which is what I imagine Vinny will play.

They are all cringe and gay but this is especially so because the P5 people have not shut the fuck up about trying to make him play this shit since it's released, even though Vinny has continuously said he is not interested.

Seems like Vinny's making facecam a regular habit for ER streams.

Part of me thinks it's also a publicity stunt and an experiment for more facecams in the future, since he's remarked on the view count being low during this playthrough and has recently been questioning if no constant facecams and other streamer cancer over the years was a good or ban decision for his success.

I just want to give context to why I think there's another layer to it than what he lets on, because he's all about the metrics these days and I'm disappointed he's continuing to push it further than necessary and I'm not a huge fan of facecams, even when they're done ironically and especially here. He phones it in way too hard in a "Sup fellow kids" way.

I liked Phasmophobia, Amogus VR, Lethal Company and some other collabs with Jerma and other streamers, but one way to tell that the stream is gonna be beyond unwatchable is when the "friends" in question are enby-mods.

they can be good sometimes, but most of the time that is not the area where vinny shines because he doesnt have the patience or interest to do the open world survival crafting and just wants to go do his own thing. since left 4 dead doesnt require a bunch of inventory management he can make good content there, those were entertaining videos.
regarding vin selling out, seems like this clickbaitey behavior started after he got fucked by that merch store going bankrupt. its entirely possible he lost more money than he lets on and is genuinely worried about his nest egg.
playing a jrpg for the gameplay and cutting out the story is like taking the tires off of a car and calling the four tires a car and then trying to drive it.

There was one I liked with Lethal Company, but then I tried watching more and he just had soyboys and e-whores with annoying voices who are just there for attention so I stopped watching them.
I get the feeling those videos are for his subhuman (p)redditor audience, now.

Late reply but Vinny should 100% point out the ugly ugly sprites that legions of Japanese artists had to redesign.
Literally one of the first things you see ingame: Toriel has a really weirdly constructed head in most of her sprites and you see tons of different interpretations in all the fanart.
Noticing that the black pixels at the bottom of her head in her overworld sprite are actually her mouth and not a goat nose threw me for a loop when I first saw it.
Also she has weird nostrils in general but that's beyond the point.
