I'm a little late, but whatever.

That Vinny doesn't like GoW without having played it is somehow understandable. You generally get a good impression of what kind of game it is.
But when he cried about GoW getting the accessibility award and the chat corrected him that it was okay, that was too hilarious. How can you be so confidently incorrect?
btw did he never play the PS2 games??

How I loathe those disgusting vultures at this point. The worst part about it is that those dickless freaks will start "cancelling" (that means report-spamming) people who won't play pretend with them. If Vinny or Joel would give for example a simple "knock it off" while addressing the amhole shit, they'll get their accounts perma'd in a heartbeat. YWNBARW, 42%, yadda yadda.
I avoided every product from advertisers celebrating this shit and in most cases it paid off. PL: Changed my razors, haven't used Gillette since the infamous commercial and switched to safety razors. It took a little while to get used to it, but it is a lot cheaper and the results are much better.

I fear that Vinny will bend the knee to peer pressure (since he plays multiplayer games with Jerma) and it would be such a waste. Was following both since the chatango or /v/ days.
 
i get the feeling that vinny will indeed have to bend the knee at some point soon. at this point it's impossible to have a decently large following on twitch without having to address the trans issue. i really can't blame jerma for doing it, based on what i've seen of his community, they're total nutters. and there's a massive amount of overlap between him and vinny community wise.

i just consider it a good business move unless they start raising money for the trevor project or something.
 
I haven't watched Jerma in over a year and I'm getting concerned from the comments here. Is he an unwatchable virtue signaler now, or is he occasionally paying lip service to his psychotic chat?

Check the Jerma thread for details. Pretty much hes stopped saying no to chat and he is at their autistic parasocial whim now. Along with selling out and accepting porn site sponsorships and constantly having his webcam on because chat throws a fit when he doesn't. Along with colabs with twitch parasites Ludwig and Hasan
 
I'd like to believe Vinny has enough integrity not to bow down to chat's bullshit, he'll simply continue to ignore it. This guy refuses to do any sort of sponsorship deals and he survived getting #MeToo'd so I think he can avoid having to validate the troons.

Unrelated but Vinny's playing Fortnite again (zoom zoom) and not even a minute into the video and Narry is already trying to run the entire show. Cut ties with this fucking faggot please.

Mostly the latter. I think his bigger issue as previously stated is that he's a complete and total sellout now where it feels like half of the two or three streams he does a week are sponsored or playing with big name Twitch losers for clout so he can fund his underwhelming big projects. The streams that aren't are hit or miss, and while the hits are still quite watchable, they are fewer and more far between than they used to be.

i don't think he's become as unbearable as criken but he's definitely pandered a little bit in the past. i quite enjoyed that recent sims 4 stream in which almost his entire chat was begging him to make his sim gay, only for jerma to not give it any attention, despite how easy it is to backseat him most of the time.

big ups to joel for doing the same thing during the meme house series.

Jerma went from being a kind of eccentric guy, who knowingly acted silly, to being a borderline retard with a severe case of mush-brain, who seems unable to read even simple sentences.
I don't know if it's the edibles, or an act, but as far as I can remember it started happening around late 2020 and went off a cliff around 2021.

There's a bunch of other shit involving who he associates with and his chat as well, but for me the major difference is how he's just annoying to watch now, as opposed to endearing.

Joel is amazingly proficient at English. In I think the most recent Vinewrestle, there was a joke along the lines of the true balls being in the heart all along, then Joel said "so anyway speaking of chestnuts". You rarely ever hear a non-native speaker making a pun in English so easily like that

I find it funny just how often in the new DF stream Joel apologized for his rasp after recording new songs, despite how good his ashtray voice sounds (I mean, I can't be the only one who thinks that). It's also great to hear that the new album may be dropping soon, hope it's as gloomy and melancholic as the previous one.

And speaking of metal, did Joel ever confirm where exactly the Vargskelethor moniker came from? Sure, it could be just referring to a regular wolf, but I wouldn't put it past him to name his online persona after that Varg, and have it be an elephant in the room for years. Tell me I'm not the only one who can see some resemblance?
