Whether through Youtube comments or being informed about the posts here, Vinny is definitely aware of the newer complaints. I very briefly looked at a Hitman 2 video because I've genuinely never seen Hitman gameplay ever, and he pretty much started the video with "if I play by myself I am gonna miss shit and play bad, deal with it lmao."

He also continued his "I know this will annoy/upset/anger/bother/hurt some people..." when saying he doesn't care about Hitman 2's story. Like...why continue to keep saying that? Some shit is better off unsaid...
I have no idea why Joel is not only playing, but actively defending the new FNAF game. I actually wish he'd be trying harder to break it and shit on it (saying this as a fan, but this game is such a glitchy broken mess) but it's been a fun couple streams regardless.
It's been fun watching someone with 0 knowledge of the lore play it and I hope he gets to the end. I wanna see his reaction to a literal rotting corpse in baby gaem

Vinny can't help to acknowledge it because he really doesnt have much else to talk about. If it's not addressing his critics, its star trek or the same bands he always listens to.
One of the things that the whole 'cancelling' event made me realize over the last several months is that without chat around, the guy cannot play games or be funny. But since he couldn't stop putting his penis into chat, chat had to go. Revealing that he's nothing more than a boring husk of a middle aged man with a crappy band no one would have ever bothered to listen to had he not been 'youtube famous'.
Its better to just watch Joel or Jerma, or even smaller twitch streamers because they have more to talk about, can play a game or at least be more amusing than Vinny could ever hope to be. Vinnyz really disappointing to me at this point.

Joel is an honest to God contrarian. I bet if he plays Banal Wonderworld like he said he might he'll unironically enjoy it because he's supposed to hate it.

I think it's been months since I've watched a stream by Vinny. Back when he'd stream live, I also wouldn't watch all the time, but at least a few times per month.
I'm not sure what exactly it was but the frequency and breadth of his streaming definitely added to his appeal. A lot of his prerecorded stuff feels stale in comparison. Not to mention the loss of Sunday streams, which were usually great and something that not many people on Twitch dabbled with.
I think his enthusiasm for streaming games has (understandably) taken a big hit, but he knows he can't afford to live off of Red Vox sales. I'd like to see him make a return to more regular and substantial streams, but at almost a year in I'm not getting my hopes up.
Wait a second... an Internet comedian with a very distinct brand of humor becomes at odds with his fanbase and with his comedy, partially because of personal problems and an identity crisis, and instead focuses on a musical career of questionable quality until the old fanbase is fully alienated...
Must be a very small percentage that doesnt find Vinny funny anymore. His viewer count is still high when he streams and his precorded videos views on youtube does just as good as the live videos. People are still watching and enjoying his content. His twitch and youtube channels are still growing. I'm always seeing new people subscribe to him and show up in chat. Me, personally I dont see much of a change in his humor. His AC precordered vid are one of my favorites to tune into. And I'm hoping he will eventually play the dlc.
I dont mind that he only wants to stream 2 times a week. I just wished he didnt waste those streams on games like Skyrim. I just cant get into that game. I will be glad when he's done with Skyrim and move on to something else.

I've been enjoying his much more laidback boomer commentary for the most part. Makes for some good background noise while watching his VODs, and he does often talk about more than just what's been critiqued recently ITT. I think people just don't really key into the other things Vinny talks about because the topics that have more of a running theme to them (i.e., his band, his music, Star Trek, Red Letter Media, etc.) are easier to notice and latch onto compared to the one-off anecdotes about his day and recent happenings.
Besides, it's not like he doesn't have his moments of FUNNY MEME BINYOT every so often still.

This is why I'm glad Joel is still around. However he seems to pander more to the trannycord audience these days and has been making fewer and fewer cohesive statements on stream while laughing his ass off while reading the chat's collective autism aloud verbatim.
Not going to step into the "Why Binyot no longer funneh!?" discussion, but I figured I'd stop by and say that I really enjoyed Visions. I strongly agree with what one poster said earlier: it's strong start to finish and as a whole album, and I think it's their best effort yet. Everything feels pretty cohesive and both the instrumental and vocal aspects have improved from earlier efforts. Overall, an enjoyable listen and I'm really interested to see where they go next.
On an aside; for those who have listened to to "I'll Know" - anyone else get the feeling the song seems to be an answer towards his accusers?
I'll believe it when I see it
I'll believe it when they put out the sun Why talk about it? Why walk around it?
Just step inside until it's all said and done
I know I'm on the outside wherever I go
It's gone beyond a landslide
I'd rather go home
Go home
Nice to meet you
Nice to leave you
Thanks for the memories, and thanks for the love
There's an answer, out on the highway
Looks to me like I should be only one
My hopes, my soul, my dark side; primed to explode
A void, a hole, a landmine
Everyone knows
They know.
I know my faults, my downsides; more than you know
I'll be the one to get right, all on my own
I know I'm on the outside
I know I'll find the upside
I know who I am on the inside
More than you know
Wherever I go
Wherever I go
I'll know.
Vinny is always pretty tight-lipped about the lyrics because he likes to leave things up to the interpretation of the listener, which I appreciate. But this one seems fairly direct and I absolutely get the feeling it was an emotional track for him to record. With all he's been through and the fact he turned to music after the accusations surfaced, I'd be surprised if he didn't have at least one vent track on the album. And honestly? It's pretty damn good - probably in the top 3 for me on this album personally.

Honestly, the story in the new Hitman trilogy is pretty boring. They're great games despite of it though because the gameplay is good and what everybody wanted out of Hitman after the disappointment that was Absolution.
Joel recently mentioned he will be doing more Signal Simulator. Those were some of the comfiest (and funniest) streams he's ever done, so I can't wait.

Vinny did state a few months back not to read into his new Album as all the songs were essentially finished lyrically and structurally before the shit show happened.
While it might be related to his relationships I don't think it was in relation to the actual accusation/drama that transpired. However, I definitely could imagine seeing some newer songs in the future that will be filled with spite over what happened as well as ways he ended up copeing during it all.
