Jesus christ, this thread keeps circling around the same old shit, doesn't it? "WOW I LOVE VINNY" "WOW VINNY IS SO DEPRESSING AND STUPID FUCK HIM".
well yeah that's every thread that isn't a cow thread. star trek thread be either "WOW I LOVE DS9, SISKO BASED" or "DISCOVERY MAKES ME WANT TO CIRCUMCISE MYSELF IN A PIRANHA TANK"

Personally, I love Vinny and also think he's depressing and stupid.

Agreed. You can still like something, while discussing it's flaws and decline in quality. Shocking I know.

Maybe it's time to find another streamer board?

That line is so funny to me. He acknowledges the size of his audience and doesn't give a fuck about losing fans. That's somewhat commendable. I mean, he did once compare it it toothpaste coming out of a tube and trying to put it back...

I can get that, but what pisses me off is chucklefucks like the person above who thinks they're so smart and quirky with their smug comments. I get it, you don't feel the same anymore. You're not special.
Calm down there friend, I still enjoy Vinny and watch his streams regularly. I just also enjoy taking the piss out of people getting heated about stupid comments online.

I still like Vinny, even he has calmed down a lot in the past months. I just find alot games he plays now to be pretty.. boring. I really miss the wacky sunday streams though. But the less said about his comunity the better, teen furry trannies nails it right on the head. Some of the biggest cringe I ever had the misfortune to witness.

Vinny articulated my thoughts on his humor very well. I am both of these people at times.

I've also been zoning out during some of his more philosophical musings. Vinny is older than me, but as we both age I have to wonder if the amount of new insights he can offer me is dwindling. Maybe that's a part of why his audience seems like a bunch of kids sometimes. To them, all of Vinny's takes are new and exciting.

Here's another example of Vinny singling out a negative comment and defending himself instead of just ignoring it. Source: LTTP Finale Comment Section

One would think that for someone who got his start on 4chan a decade ago he would had learned the old rule of
"do not feed the trolls"
At this rate he's going to become so easily irritable we gonna have to move the thread to internet famous by the end of the year

I mean… you’d be a fool if you didn’t admit that the allegations basically killed this thread and deterred a lot of great posters that were previously active on here. Like, what else can we really discuss here aside from what the other streamers are doing or Vinny larping as a cynical nintendo fan for the millionth time to prove a bait comment wrong? As much as I can respect his choice to step back from constant streaming at midnight til the early morning, that separation from the chat apart from the weekly live streams has made some of his content drop in quality– especially because a good amount of his best moments are chat-specific memes and banter. So it's understandable why people are coming to circlejerk the same sentiments ad nauseam, whether it be old users or the April 3rd-onward users.

What I find interesting nowadays is how Vinny keeps harping on about the whole keeping-my-distance-from-chat-and-the-internet thing every few streams, but if anything he's become a lot more vulnerable in his prerecorded streams these past few months in my opinion. I guess when you talk to yourself that long enough, you start getting more introspective and "deep" about your life or whatever the fuck to whoever cares to listen. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but it's kinda ironic how he doesn't want people knowing too much about him, yet goes on these talks to an audience that will take anything he says and make a mountain out of a molehill with the whole "wholesome streamer" pedestal he can't seem to step off of, no matter how hard to tries to push against it.

Time to go back and discuss if Vinny wears a wig

I've just made a rule for myself: don't watch prerecorded Vinny, only livestreams and livestreams recordings. The recent "cursed Mario 64", "Mario World from memory" and ALttP Redux streams were all great, but then it went straight back to Animal Crossing. And even the prerecorded part 2 of Mario 64 sucked. The difference to the live segments is staggering, I get the same sinking feeling me and several others have been whining about for a while now. I've gone from "we really need to get rid of this deranged parasocial tranny chat" to "we really need a few sensible chatmembers to wrangle the dumb streamer man".

Similar to how someone else put it, Joel and Jerma are the go-to for streamer comedy, while IMO Limes is the best "normal gaming" streamer, once again evidenced by yesterday's Dark Souls.

I've only been watching the pre-recorded videos if they're for something I find particularly interesting like the Mario 64 stuff or Zomboid. A lot of normal gaming videos just don't feel the same when they're pre-recorded. It's like listening to a live recording of a band vs. being at the concert.
