I swear to God they better not dare. Chugga is one of the nicest people I've ever seen, a genuinely kind and generous person. I severely doubt anyone would believe those kinds of accusations if they got made but I don't even want to see that happen.

i grew up with chuggaa and later vinny, but emile feels a little too 'obscure' to be a target because it might not be as much of a sensation

Since this event broke they have done nothing but post their amateur detective work and white knighting across social media long after people have moved on from discussing it.

As much as I was devastated at the Vinny accusations. I still had fun browsing all the posts on here and on twitter and playing shitty internet detective.

Also despite how dumb they were acting I do hope that Binyorpisinnocent is going to be okay, so they can move past this weird para-social relationship thing they have going on with Vinny.

Binyorp, I'm going to try to say this as politely as I can, because I know that you're in a bad place. Acknowledging that your behavior isn't healthy is one thing. Continuing to do said unhealthy behavior is quite another. There is nothing that you can do to help in this situation. There's nothing we could do to help beyond whatever detective work has been done in this thread, even if we all sincerely wished to do so. You will not find the comfort and support you need in this thread. This is not the place for that kind of thing, and it will never be the place for this kind of thing. There is comfort and support for you in this world outside of Vinny's streams, of that I am completely certain. It sounds like you have a loving and supportive mother and husband, and if there is anything I can recommend to you, it's that you appreciate them and spend time with them. If you're going to find happiness, it's going to be there, not on Twitter, and certainly not here. What you're doing isn't helping anyone, yourself least of all.

One way or another, everything is going to be okay.
 
I echo the sentiment. As someone who over-relied on Vinny and his streams a few years back when my relationship and self-esteem was strained, taking a step back and getting some self-awareness really did wonders.

I know you're hurting over this shitshow Binyorp, but pestering and hyperfixating on Twitter especially is only doing you more harm. Gotta have faith in yourself and your IRL support network to ride this out and make your own happiness buddy.

This kinda makes me wonder if Vinny ever had sex with a cosplayer who didn't know who he was online during one of these cons. Or if it was exclusively fans of his streams.

Just popping back in to say I hope Vinny's doing alright. Chat treating him like a saint is the kind of parasocial behavior that partially got us here in the first place imo, but from all evidence he seems like a decent person who should be given the benefit of the doubt with these kind of shaky/misrepresenting at very best allegations. I can't really blame people here for discussing the rumors that do go out there, since the general vibe of this thread before the incident was "this is none of our business anyway, and this shit is irrelevant to the streams", but I hope that it really is drilled into viewers heads after this that the funny pizza pasta man is here to be an entertainer, and that any personal misgivings that a streamer may have as a person (outside of obviously immoral behavior that he has yet to show any signs of) shouldn't be relevant to him as a streamer. But that's probably being optimistic with the kind of obsessive sycophant behavior that online figures inevitably attract.

Wouldn't say the dude is a saint but he's a generally good guy which is enough for me to like watching him for years. Anyone who thought that Vinny has never fucked before is a fucking loon though.
 
I think it's just that the hero worship that sprouts out of these kind of communities create this unrealistic template in people's heads of what their favorite person should be, instead of an actual flawed human being. Then when we hear about the alleged sex life of one of these people, some of the insane kinnie obsessive types can't handle the reality of their favorite streamer not being an uwu ace softboi. It's none of our business anyways, and I will give credit that like 95% of the community seems to not give a shit about Vinny allegedly getting laid consensually with fans.

I suppose that's the main drawback from having a large enough audience where many new ones are younger. Hell, I've been rewatching 2014 vods since that's when I first tuned in and I forgot how different Vinny's demeanour was which I guess, for lack of a better word, less reserved and less hyper-childish? Let alone during the early early years. They'd be clutching pearls.
