Can't, part of Denuvo's sales pitch is that it detects debuggers and refuses to run, it's part of their anti-tamper thing.

PIX(https://devblogs.microsoft.com/pix/introduction/ ) and something like Intel's VTune would have been interesting to run on Denuvo games, but I don't think that's possible or someone would have done it by now.

edit: huh, according to a single reddit post it seems like VTune works. PIX might work as well.

I was being a bit facetious. People that know how to do this already know how to get around the debugger checks. 19 years ago the last revision of SoftICE was issued.

Coincidence, I actually wrote about SoftICE in my previous post but deleted it.

The type of profiling is, like you say, something that takes knowledge to do and it's a tall order for gamejournos and enthusiasts to make anything of it, though I would pay to see the people at Polygon take a crack at it. People with solid game programming experience that are very familiar with what they're looking at could probably churn out some fascinating stuff but they're usually working in game development and might not want to stir the shit like that.
