My bias is the annoying vampire from BG3. He's funny! He's mean! He would look at your fit and say, "WHAT ARE THOSE?!" You just know he cheats at cards and (usually) gets away with it! I feel like the newer patches made him a little too soy for tiefling-playing queers, though. In my first playthrough, I romanced him as a halfling bard, and we were like a comedy duo. I want to do a solo run as him and treat Ultima VII's Gate 3 like Hitman.

He's not a bitch about being a tragic waif: he's pissed. I just hate how people romanticize him or turn him into a melodramatic dweeb in fandom. He's got a lot more interesting stuff going for him than that in terms of his personality, but you have to look past what a massive bullshitter he is. He's a tough little faggot who wants everything on his terms and will happily solve his problems and create new ones because it's funny.

I started Divinity Original Sin 2 (another Not-Ultima VII that plays pretty similar to BG3 so you can jump in pretty easily), and I thought I'd like the fancy red lizardman (because he's funny) or the literal skeleton (but he's too much of a Reddit atheist), but for once, I'm gonna bag the human guy because, honestly, he's such a bro from the outset. What a real-ass dude.

All that said, I prefer the psychosis of Owlcat games overall, but Larian does pretty good.
 
On the subject of Bioshock:

In the game, I thought Atlas was cute.


I'm a sucker for Irish accents, and he had a great voice, and since you hear him supporting you throughout the entire game, I liked him.

And then...well, I don't want to ruin the ending, but it was the biggest disappointment when the twist happens.
 
Sparrow from Apex Legends. Me and my lady friend always joke about him being an "Italian Stallion." Also has a cute swagger when he shoots; he skips along as he does it.

Federico Auditore was my first Assassin's Creed crush. They gave him a Jew nose in Brotherhood but he was damn fine in AC2.

I fell for a cute but other twist attractive character in a game. I've been playing Duskwood for a long time now, and most of the time I thought the character Richy was pretty cute out of the entire friend group in that game.

Well, it turns out at the end that
he's the villain of the game and he was the one who was attacking and killing people in Duskwood, and he's the one who kidnapped the girl in the game that you're trying to save.

aw, c'mon, him over ryan? he always seemed to just be "fake irish dude" to me

and yeah b1's ending was the worst of them to me besides solely the little sister wrap up/hand moment

not meant as a personal slight whatsoever, but most overrated character i've ever seen pop up, every single male vampire actor in twilight did better than him (imo), and in bg edwin/sarevok among others crater him. (imo). just like a shit tom cruise from iwtv (imo). very hard to avoid being acidic when he's pushed as like the greatest male love interest, especially when he acts and sounds like 95% literal gay, not prince metrosexual "gay"

It was the accent, lol. Although I do love how Andrew Ryan was voiced by Principal Snyder from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
 
I’m very surprised that no one has mentioned the absolute best boy in Hogwarts Legacy, Ominis Gaunt:

Despite being one of Voldemort’s ancestors and descended from Salazar Slytherin himself (and the rest of the pureblood fanatics who make up the notorious House of Gaunt), he is very sweet and thoughtful, and genuinely cares about his friends.

Ominis also shows an incredible strength of character. His family enjoyed casting the Cruciatus curse (a curse that causes unbearable pain to its victims) on Muggles for fun, and when he was a young child they forced him to do it as well. When he refused, they cast it on him instead. In the end he did as he was told, but it’s something for which he still can’t forgive himself, even though he was not to blame.

Now even though I really like Ominis a lot, I wouldn’t call him a “video game husband” because he is only around 15/16 years old in the game (being a 5th year student at Hogwarts). However, a fan made a picture of an adult version of him in his 30’s, and let’s just say I sometimes wish this version of him could be real:

He’s probably been mentioned before, but all of the Resident Evil hype and play throughs that I follow lately have reminded me of my attraction to Leon Kennedy.
I don’t mind seeing his fictional face everywhere in the gaming world right now.
And his character just gets better with age.

I was never into Leon because I thought he was a very cookie-cutter "bishonen" type of character but god damn he is fine as fuck in Requiem.
