I remember watching and hearing about some really bad days in Korea's history. There were days were starvation was so bad people were eating bark and some families would trade children... to eat. It wasn't entirely the various governments fault, although from what I understand way back when they had some culpability in making things worse. It was primarily massive droughts and so forth.
Socialist human arrogance manufactured this catastrophe, and that same arrogance will cause those people to continue to suffer. Until the Venezuelans gain a spine and reject all forms of socialism and overthrow the gubment (if they have the strength to do so being so starved,) those monsters running things will make the place into another Best Korea.
I want to feel bad for them, but they didn't stop this when they had the chance. I don't know how to feel right now honestly, except some pity for those that didn't want this. Just... damn.

Maduro is buying all the Votes he can by offering food via something called El Carnet de la Patria, which is a free card you can get by registering and can claim money and food bonuses but these bonuses are nothing.

At the moment they don't know if are voting tomorrow or to stay home,

It is said that Falcon is a fake candidate that secretly supports Maduro so people don't want to vote for him. Used to be a Chavez follower back in the 2000s.

Bertucci is the other Candidate they can choose to vote but he has way less followers than Falcon so voting for him would be a waste of vote, they were talking about merging and they disagreed with it which is really retarded. Why not merge?

Most people don't want to vote just to invalid the elections somehow, the ones that want to vote can't choose between Falcon or Betucci since Maduro is not a good candidate to choose.

For people who wanna know what it's like there:

1. Monthly Salary is just at 2 Dollars, just a sad 2 little dollars which equals 2 Million Of Bolivarez, 1 Dollar equals 1 Million of VEF.

2. Middle Class is dead already, there are 2 new categories that replaced the rest:
People that can earn a good amount of dollars from the outside and people without dollars that try to live with the monthly salary from the country.

3. 1 Complete Frozen Chicken costs 1.4 Million VEF, so with the salary you earn in a month you can buy just 2 chickens, a plate on a restaurant costs at least 2 million vef to 5 million vef which leads to restaurants to close because no clients, most people are trying to buy bread and water only which is the cheapest thing you can get in order to survive.

4. Most people end up using the monthly salary in the first 5 days and end up eating from the trash they find because they don't have anything to eat.

5. People are robbing way too much, if they see you walking with a phone in the streets, they gonna get you so they can sell the Phone in order to eat, police are getting corrupt as well.

6. Nothing works, all services are garbage.

7. Teachers are leaving because they can't even survive with the current salary and lots of protests rising at schools.

The only good thing is that services such as electricity, internet (which is really slow), and water all together, if turned into dollars costs like 5 cents.

Is because like i said before both sides are stupid, the chavismo know there is no fucking way they are going to lose with the CNE in Maduro's pocket so there is no reason to go waste their time, the opposition and everyone in the planet know that the CNE is corrupt and even if they vote in mass they are going to rig the results with the infamous 50/49 that was repeated in almost any country that was friend with Chavez,Argentina had that problem too until The Doctor kicked Cristina Kichner and her friends from the government

The other problem the opposition has is the apathy of the people, every time people rise to remove Maduro they cool it by sitting in negotiation tables that always failed, last time maduro was scared shitless because universities and young people from all across the country rise but the imbeciles decided to go to the Dominican republican in a negotiation that lasted a month and then boom, maduro just said "fuck you" and all was lost, people is actually reaching levels of "i don't care anymore" that is have to be seen to be believed there is no third party that could do something because they are see as Cuban puppets, the only legit opposition party is a mess that every victory they just squander it and do nothing about it, its been almost 20 years of disappointment, people is now getting money to legalize their documents to flee (that is a nightmare because you need to ask for a appointment for a website that NEVER works)

The results are already prepared, everyone know what is going to happen but the opposition doesn't have any plans after tomorrow, they are a bunch of cowards that refuse to protest to maintain the status quo, they are so shameless that instead of making the people protest they are traveling through south America to beg to other countries to let Venezuelan refugees enter because they know no one gives a shit about them

Bonus: if you try to access facebook or youtube without adblocker from south america you are going to see SHITLOAD of propaganda of Maduro to the point that even Youtubers are complaining that they refuse to monetize them for stupid things but accepting drug money is A-OK

So the voting already "started" and by started i mean empty electoral centers everywhere, my family and i when to several of them and they are empty even in hardcore chaviztas towns, it did not help that early in the morning there was a power outage that fucked some machines

Still that did not stop Maduro and his team to brag about how 2.5 millions of person already voted.... that in less that 4 hours (the centers have to open at 6:00 am) btw they follow those numbers by people going to the "Red Dots", places where people can get their money and box of food if they voted for Maduro, i asked a NG that was guarding a center nearby and he told me this "oh yeah people enter but fuck the machine so their vote is rendered null and void"

Sadly only on twitter, no newspaper not even online want to show exit pools because is illegal, even when maduro brag that we have the "best electoral system in the world" they drag the process for hours normally until midnight, hell Colombia already knew who won in the afternoon in their election, but they have to fuck the numbers, until now those are the numbers that people manage for now, take it with a grain of salt

Translation: the abstention was of a glorious 82.68%, Maduro is (apparently) cursing everyone right now, cant blame him, according to the information those 3 millions are illegals (America should take notes about this) military and government personal
