supermarkets are regularly stocked here right now, what they don't tell you is only because from a few years ago they had to drop all commie price controls and currency controls and everything is sold in DOLLARS, and the prices are not affordable , a lot of things cost more than abroad in a country where most people barely makes any scratch money from full time jobs, most products are imported because all the local production was destroyed by socialists and nationalizations.

Whatever happens a massive cultural revolution is occurring in Venezuela and I don't think (I hope) the government can't contain the riots breaking out. People are mad and tired of the shortages and violence.

I don't care about commie shit. I just know Venezuela has huge oil and gold reserves. And the US corporations would like those. So as they've done in the past in other countries, if they can't convince them or sanction them into compliance, they'll install someone to turn over the national resources to US companies. Just as the British Oil companies did to Iran in the 1940's and 1950's.
