What tickles me about current views of the writters try to portray vykos in modern woke context wereas anyone with half a brain see's that it's an absolute nightmare and its 'gender' is best described as 'giger-rapist.' Considering vykos gender fluid in a human context is like calling michael myers straight and cis.

That's just what happens when you stop seeing people as what they do, and instead what they are. Going for a real-life example, calling Vykos genderfluid is like calling John Wayne Gacy a cisgendered gay: it completely overlooks the incredibly horrifying shit they do.

This also happened in D&D, by the way. Their latest big book of Inclusivity and Representation, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, is named after Tasha, AKA Iggwilv. Who's Iggwilv, you might ask? Well, let's ask the Wiki...

Up to 3.5e she was Chaotic Evil. In 5e she got completely whitewashed into a True Neutral character, with the excuse that her character in the book is her before falling to evil. That it might be, but they're still missing the point of the character.

Anyway, expect a canon depiction of Sascha Vykos saying "trans rights" to happen soon.
 
Gender politics in vampire trend towards “Gender Supremicists Get Rekt” simply because claiming one is better than the other or should stay in their lane doesn’t really apply when you’re dealing with creatures that can shapeshift, control minds, and otherwise transcend human limitations. Same thing applies to race, somewhat, though elders tend to be set in their ways from their embraces.

It's weirder when you consider the indentity hang ups shift dramtically I recall a toreador eldar bitching about how much everyone who isnt Norman were scum while being offended at how shit modern french sounded. Frankly anything over a 1000 years old is going to look at you like you're insane if you bring up microagressions.

It jumps from weird to funny when you see Matthew Dawkins 'gay Muslim bestie as a vampire' and remember that the second Assamite schism occurred, in large part, because Ur-Shulgi really doesn't like Islam (because Haqim is God, or close enough) and sent most of the Muslim Assamites running for the Ashirrah or the Sabbat.

New-White Wolf knows that the woke fans don't agree with Vykos's characterization since their design and concept were based on the derogatory parody of 90s transvestites. White wolf is too busy making sure Vykos is a palatable gender special vampire that they've completely forgotten the years of actual characterization that has been given to them.

With Sabbat V5 on the horizon and absolutely no mention of Vykos in the Tzimisce section of the VTM Companion, you better believe they've been putting off addressing what the fuck Vykos has been up. My current prediction, Sabbat V5 is going to be uninspired and continue to remove any political holds the Sabbat had on the U.S. Any information on Vykos will be a footnote because anything more detailed could cause an upset.

EDIT: Actually that would make for an interesting take on why North America is so obsessed with circumcision. The Tzimisce collect it to graft new flesh finding it to be much more malleable.

I think it's been long established that trannies have no shame. Tzimisce even less so. Unless it's something like... they ran out of some presumably vital item of hospitality. That will make a Tzimisce sound contrite.

I thought the point with Vykos was that they’ve determined they have ascended beyond the concept of gender? Which was part of why they chucked their cock and balls on the table to tell the proto-Cammies to fuck off
