REmake 3 was short as hell, lacked multiple things and locations from the original. Nemesis wasnt as threatening in that game, unlike the original. They sold a 30 dollar game as a 60 dollar one. Its fine for what it was but it was no REmake 2. Besides, people were wishing for a Code Veronica remake and Capcom seems to be skipping it for RE4 (when that game is not only great already but has been ported to nearly almost every console there is).

Game remakes are far easier to do than a sequel, remakes just require you following the original mostly fairthfully while keeping gameplay. Sequels require originality and unbiased writing.

It's not just games either, there are very very few good remakes of movies, shows etc etc. It's a quick buck that people know will be moderately successful based on brand recognition alone so they don't put enough effort into it. That's my theory at least.
 
Anyway, today we‘ll get some more info on bloodlines 2 on Guerilla collective stream.

And do you know about Werewolf: the apocalypse-Earthblood game? New cinematic looks damn good, shame it’s an epic exclusive, but I understand a decision here - game was in development he’ll for way too long

Looks cool and all but no werewolf will be as terrifying as Bloodlines werewolf coming at you double speed while you wait for that damn cable car.

One of the most memorable vidya moments for me. It just drops you on your ass as your vampire powers are completely useless in seconds. All you can do is run and hide like a roach. Or stumble into that one obscure way to beat it which no one will get the first time.

someone else sees “будущая возмездие” which ain’t grammatically correct too. I think they waned to write “future retribution”, but “retribution” is neutrally gendered in Russian, so “future” should be neutrally gendered too but they chose female gendered version. TLDR in Russian it sounds wrong

How much you wanna bet the writers are gonna be more like Damsel and less like Skelter; and by that I mean they take her and her vampire communism shit seriously instead of going "okay dear, that's nice."

Could just be a bad shot/pains of still being in development. I really hope they keep her accurate to how she was in 1, she was a violent commie but she had nuance in how she believed communism wouldn't work for humans and only within the vampire society, which I always found to be a really interesting angle.

Oh i remember that too. She had at least realized that communism can't work though I am not sure if she ever elaborated on that part. Or did she and I just forgot? Damn I have to reinstall the game (+fan mods of course) and play again. Though I would either play as a Malk (they are the most fun) or as a Tremere (*explodes everyone*)
 
also some of you felt bad for pre-ordering a game more then year ago, and ever since no normal gameplay reveal/release date?
You can now get a physical special edition too! Still no idea when you’ll get it, tho

Oh, Damsel elaborated on communism. You know how people always say it will work with the right people in charge? Damsel believes communism will work if vampires are in charge. Yes, those selfless humanitarians who don't constantly backstab and compete against each other over grudges that are at minimum decades long and have no risk of food scarcity ever.

The added irony to this is that Anarch Brujah actually did try communism that way: they were responsible for and helped create the Soviet Union. So Damsel's double-dumb on this one.
