To anyone who still gives any amount of a shit - new Dev Diary dropped. It's fuck all of importance gameplay wise, just talking about the technical end. A mild chuckle at being halfway through the current gen and it still being referred to as next gen is the best I got from the Diary itself.

The more amusing part is over on Zuccbook - the only comments are 2 people asking the game to not be PC/Woke, and 6 other people doing the usual dogpile. No one gives a shit about this game, and I'm only still watching to see how hard it bombs.

Why? We all know its going to bomb harder than Sir Arthur Harris did over Dresden.
Morbid fascination and more than a passing interest in Dumpster Fire level Vidya. Sometimes something’s so bad it loops back to being entertaining, and while that’s far too much to hope here, that’s about the best this game can possibly manage.

That's fair, I suppose. Just don't watch too hard or closely. These people aren't worth that much effort.

Trust me, much like nuRow the only way I'm buying this shit heap is if it goes on clearance after the people behind it close down.

My watching is just "Wait when did I follow this page?" and getting links from the Official Site. I'm staying well out of the splash zone when this one touches down...

On a side note the VR game seems to be buggy as hell and many are complaining about the price for what's practically an oculus applab title.

Watching it now and my reaction is I liked this the first time around when it was F.E.A.R., this shits bland and overdone what made the first game stand out so much was you didn't have all these other titles doing similar shit but better when it released nowadays they're just trying to stuff one more salty snackfood down the gullet of an already bloated consoomer.

WTF is this pile of shit. My expectations are already subterranean, but they managed to beat that nonetheless. I see we have "Totally not Johnny Silverhand", along with "Totally not Bioshock telekinesis" and "Totally not Fallout 4 dialogue wheel".

Both dialogue and the VA work are dogshit, and so is the combat (Which looks like exactly what you'd expect from a company specialized in fucking walking simulators).

My God, what a trainwreck this is going to be.

I don't think it'll be a complete flaming trashco waste disposal unit rather it'll be a big ol' uninspired wet fart 6 out of 10 that'll get overlooked by bigger titles releasing at the same time. My prediction will be that less than six months after releasing is that we'll see it going for like thirty bucks on the first big steam sale.

It's going to be mediocre alright, but I think it has a significant amount of hype behind it (Or at least it did, back when Hardsuit Labs were behind it), and considering that almost every Bloodlines 2-related video in the WoD YouTube is sitting at a 1:1 like/dislike (If not worse), makes me think fan reaction is going to be pretty strongly against it and turn it into a media dumpster fire.

11 hours until we see how much walking we'll be doing in the walking simulator.

Cringe dialogue (classical music? now THAT'S oldskool!, Fuck. That.), voice acting sucks, detective vision, combat lacks weight and seems like it'll get boring after the first few fights. That LT + RT FEED thing is crazy annoying, get ready to see that animation a hundred thousand times. It just kinda seems like a weaker Dishonored combat system.

It's crazy that this is the mission they chose to sell you on the game. Go through the same warehouse four times and fight a bunch of nondescript goons. Also I'm wondering if the enemies being "illusions" is so they can erase the bodies after you kill them because the game chugs otherwise.

1. Vampires can't just drain a person like a caprisun bag in one second flat. It's not a fucking finishing move.
2. The amount of blood from one human would've sufficed to fuel a vampire through that whole scenario easily, her running up and chugging on everyone in sight to keep fighting was nonsense.

the trend of some asshole talking into your brain needs to fucking die

edit: this shit has a set mc called fucking phyre?

this shit is doa and i hope it tanks the entire studio

The guy says this showcases their specialty in exploration and making you solve the puzzle, but like... What exploration? What puzzle? Go around the warehouse and destroy four record players? And the dialogue options look fucking terrible. "Draw conclusions from his behaviour" What the fuck does that mean to the player?

Also, I need the lore nerds' help here: Why does Willem trapping us in an illusion cause us to also see his memories? Like, he's having a full conversation over the phone, so I assume he's not doing it intentionally.

Also the games supposed to take place in Seattle yeah? and it's being made buy a bunch of eurotrash inbreds nigga have any you motherfuckers actually gone to America? I know the original idea was so they could shoehorn in shit from the first game but I feel it could have been better set somewhere in Europe plenty of big cities there for them to stylize incorrectly.

this shit looks worse than a game so bad that it made paradox scrap the entire fucking thing and not only that change fucking developers. just what the fuck

To condense what was in their presentation.

Phyre as a Brujah goes to a warehouse full of mannequins to see Willhem the Nosferatu that has Malkavian powers. Phyre realizing that they are an illusion fights the ghouls as well as the mannequins that come to life. Willhem defeated reveals that a Malkavian called "The Gardener" (it will be funny if its a Mexican) put him up to it. He is then blown up from the bomber vest he was wearing that was detonated remotely.

The gameplay looks like Dishonored, Phyre has telekinesis. The melee combat looks like it has improved but if Hardsuit Labs were given the chance to fix that issue they would have. It still doesn't make up for the design of their protagonist who looks and sounds like Outstar to me and lack of customization options for each clan. The dialogue is poorly written.

Hardsuit Labs build was better than this. I would like to know how much of Brian Mitsoda and Chris Avellone's script was changed, Paradox said only 10% was changed but I could believe that The Chinese Room scrapped the whole thing.
