Having a bunch of Prepper Vampires and other shit like that would give many weird feelings.
Having to hypnotize the guard of CostCo so you can steal a shitload of stuff for your underground bunker. Hoard gold, shitpost online.

You could do it, and it would probably be fun as fuck, but man would it be weird.

"Look, Vlad, I'm sure your black powder pistol will scare away one or two humans, but when society collapses you're going to need something like an AR-15."

Cyberpunk was delayed multiple times. Not always a good sign.
If anything multiple delays are a sign that something's gone wrong and the game will suck, I always think of Bioshock Infinite, the original Bioshock had 1 delay, but when Infinite kept delayed again and again it was clear it wasn't going well.

"Look, Vlad, I'm sure your black powder pistol will scare away one or two humans, but when society collapses you're going to need something like an AR-15."
"Don't be ridiculous. This is the pinnacle of technology."
"Yeah, in 1500 back when kindred and kine were living in stone castles and wooden huts. Do you really think that the people living behind the stone walls of the projects are a bunch of noblemen and their retainers, and the people living on the outskirts of the city in wooden houses poor-as-fuck peasants?"
"Are you saying project houses are castles then?"
*facepalm*

I feel there are delays that are like "yeah this could really use more polish and took a little longer than expected so were delaying it" and the project mismanagement "ahh geez, ahh fuck, everything is on fire, we need more time to pinch this fucking turd" delay.

The best thing for Vtmb fans is for Vtmb2 to not come out. V5 already took a giant shit on the lore and worldbuilding and the people working on this game have shown that they're both bad writers and tech incompetent. Why would you want to play some buggy pozzed garbage? You already have the rest of the AAA industry for that.

Let me give examples:
Coteries of New York - really decent art and setting. Characters are wasted. You're given 2 weeks as either a brujah outsider associated with some gang, a black toreador who's a struggling artist or an ice queen ventrue who navigates the night like she does a boardroom. Guess which one I picked. You're then given 2 weeks to form a small cadre before the 2nd inquisition find you and in the end your patron gets murdered and it's all one elaborate ruse. It's a one and done kind of story.
Shadows of New York - Sequel but this time you play a Lasombra journalist (Kinda like what they did with the shadow clan in 5th, sending the Sabbot to the middle east is stupid but making the Lasombra have to suck up to the Camirilla opens up possibilities of RP) Anyway, you're tasked with investigating what happened to prince in the last game and as it turns out, it was rigged from the start because every faction wanted him dead. You either bury the story and advance or run away with your lesbian lover. It's got the same art vibe I like but Julia isn't interesting.
There was this piece of insight from the Malkavian character though:

Out for Blood - CoG games in general can vary wildly from author to author. I'll defend Tin Star but this one is pretty straight forward in terms of plot. Move to small town and need to protect it from hunters, except it's pretty boring and you don't care about the characters. There's always a trans option at the start as well, because you need to spend more time adjusting variables for trannies to RP as. Need to get those pronouns right.
Night Ride - This one you may have seen at some point. 700k worded where you play as a driver in the south west US delivering packages. The mechanics are there for several clans, even Ravnos meaning you need to find a new place to sleep every night. Except, the clans I want like Tremere, are DLC only. Anyone can also learn blood magic by drinking the blood of the Tremere elder you help in the story. It's stupid. The writing style is also isn't fleshed out and tends to rush forward at a pace.
If that doesn't turn you off, this will. There's a tranny character you can kill in game. I went to use blood magic on him and:
>"You don't like to rush wards, since even a single flawed line can render them useless, but as Nilay and his ghouls linger for a moment, sweeping a tent entrance with their cell phone flashlights, you seize the opportunity. They're heading toward a narrow path formed by a crookedly parked SUV and a pile of what appears to be irrigation equipment. You hop over the hood of the SUV, grab a screwdriver from your ${bag}, and hastily draw the servi interdicere sigils of this ancient and well-known Tremere ritual. You can't catch Nilay in it since they're nonbinary and you're not sure how to make the Latin work, but think you can get one of the others."
Yes, when Tremere himself was designing ghoul eradication spells back in the 14th century, he didn't think to make them work on non-binary people. Also that slip of his in that first sentence. If I was playing this, I'd say "The spell obviously targets biological sex" but then the progressive DM would just make the check fail anyway.
Avoid this one.

I'm waiting to see if Nighthawks is any good. Made by Wadjet Eye and I like the art.
