Avg Gas Prices 30-4-2026.png
The U.S. nationwide average gas price has climbed to $4.30 per gallon as of Thursday, according to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA), a four-year high, as American drivers feel the squeeze at the pump.

Gas prices rose 7¢ on Thursday, up from $4.23 on Wednesday, according to AAA data. The last time average U.S. gas prices topped $4.15 a gallon was in April 2022, shortly after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Gas prices have been rising since the U.S. and Israel's war in Iran began on February 28, when a gallon cost $2.98.

For Americans looking carefully at what the consequences of the war would be on the nation’s economy, the apparently unstoppable climb in gas prices is further bad news, after the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data showed that inflation jumped to its highest level in two years in March, driven by coffee, fuel, and housing price hikes.

This rise in inflation, turbocharged by skyrocketing energy prices stemming from ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, is reflected in President Donald Trump’s plummeting approval rating.

A small price to pay if the reward is we get to economically and strategically strangle another anti-American caliphate out of existence.
I don't know who the fuck still needs to hear this but DONT FEED THE TROLLS!

Some shithole on the other side of the world posting lego AI slop about you is not a reason to take military action (on behalf of isreal).
Some jesters on the other side of the Internet laughing at your public actions is not a reason to flag all their channels (on behalf of alcohol).

It's the same principal.

So outside California, that's what, like $3.80 average or so? Was $3.50 here a week or so ago, $3.78 right now.

Honestly, beef prices dropping the last few months has more than offset the extra gas prices. Weird how getting rid of the illegals in our slaughterhouse dropped prices. We had $3.69/lb ground beef last week. I haven't seen it that low since 2019.

Im paying 4.39 a gallon where I live for 85. I dont live in California or new york either.

The federal reserve economic data doesn't even come close to that figure. I paid like 7.29 for ground beef literally yesterday.
Really? That's more than our ground chuck. Even the lean chuck is a bit lower than that. I bought two 5lb tubes of 73/27 ground beef last night, still a bit under $4/lb.

Our state does allow grocers to sell state-grown meat that has not been USDA inspected now. I don't know how that would save on the price, but it might explain the difference.

I'm reliably informed that Americans are more than willing and able to pay higher prices for everything if it means the end to the existential threat that is Iran that has been threatening your personal safety for 50 years.

I support Trump and I think he has done a lot of good since he came in.

The war in Iran is not one of those good things, and money is tight enough without spending $4+ dollars a gallon on gas. I hate that Trump has jews in his ear telling him that Israel is our greatest ally and that we have to be in the middle east.

I don't think anybody has actually been able to tell me what we gain from war in Iran. Everyone I see talk about it just says something along the lines of "muslims are our enemies and they deserve to die" which is true enough but if that's the case we should be detaining and deporting all the ones here inside our borders, not blowing up the ones doing fuck-all in some shithole country in the middle of nowhere. Or they say something about Iran having nuclear WMD's or the capabilities to produce them... weren't we making fun of Obama for saying that exact thing?

I feel like I've gone crazy. It's like you can't criticize anything the guy does.

I'm in rural America and I'm paying $4 a gallon. Ridiculous. We were at $2 a gallon a few months ago.

The gas increase really hurts when we all drive fuck huge trucks around here.

Sabra hummus reduced their packaging size by a couple oz. It is so fucked up.

But I was told that the president has no control over gas prices. Which is it?
Easy, it's Biden's fault. Don't worry about the details. "Sleepy Joe" was such a bad president that gas prices STILL rise after he's out of the office, even with our Lord and Savior, Donald Trump and his party solidly in control of the United States.

It really shows the true incompetence of the Dems in that the country is such a wreck even years after they've lost control of the White House. I'm hoping that Trump is able to get a 3rd term in so he can get us back on track.

If they're stupid enough to do it directly in front of police officers, they probably will. Be good or be good at it. These things were all over gas station pumps where I live and no one was dumb enough to get caught in the act.

Be ready for 9/11 gas prices.
Won't get better even if you impeach Trump.
