That sounds suspiciously close to killing other people's babies and having their groceries.People would rather kill babies than have groceries.

They cheated, Arthur. As a bong I know a little bit about political fiascos, but how the fuck did the democrats do so well considering everything that's gone wrong the last 2 years? The president is a literal dementia sufferer, are most people ok with this?
That would be too merciful for us.
2024 is going to be the United States' last election, isn't it.
Except it wouldn't be a war between the states like in 1861, it would be a war between people with blurry frontlines like most civil wars now. I hope it doesn't happen, but it looks more and more likely by the day. If enough people can step up the plate, the movement against the government would snowball and very possibly result in its collapse.Except the country since 1865 has made so many moves to make that shit impossible it’s not even funny.
48% of college students believe in the death penalty for hate speech. Younger generations are absolutely brainwashed and the only reason we don't live a totalitarian society right now is because there's too many boomers left.I'm starting to wonder if the SC undid RvW JUST to fuck over the GOP.
Dems would rather pay $20 a gallon gas, spend hundreds of dollars for groceries, be completely locked out of the housing market, and risk possible black outs thanks to green energy that doesn't even fucking work than possibly consider NOT having wild unprotected sex.
If RvW hadn't been nuked, I can see the GOP having a much easier time winning, but the risk of "no more abortions!!" completely blew their chances out of the water.
Also, Gen Z is a lost cause. LOOK AT THE SHIT THEY WATCH. Its not wonder they'd happily vote Blue, even if it fucks them in the ass in the future.
Democracy legitimizes the system. The US not having elections is like the Harlem Globetrotters not playing basketball anymore. The GOP are the Washington Generals and any win they achieve is purely a glitch in the system that will be patched over (as it was after 2016). The GOP will always exist to be the foil to the righteous Democrat activists on the Right Side of History.

Amerifats don't have anyone to be a proper monarch or absolutist ruler.Democracy legitimizes the system. The US not having elections is like the Harlem Globetrotters not playing basketball anymore. The Senate and presidency is Dem, and the House will be Rep.If Lake gets AZ and the House is secured with a slim R majority, I’ll chalk this cycle as a bittersweet victory, one I hope is ultimately super phyrric for the Democrats.
Remember, the house has subpoena power, and people go to jail for it now.The Senate and presidency is Dem, and the House will be Rep.
Hopefully everything the Dems do gets deadlocked.
Hence, bittersweet. I would rather the power of this administration be greatly inconvenienced than have the unchecked power they’ve wielded for the past two years. The Senate and presidency is Dem, and the House will be Rep.
Hopefully everything the Dems do gets deadlocked.
I thought this was the last election? And so was 2020?

You know how the Dems for the last two presidential election cycles dropped millions of dollars into adverts telling voters that the [current year] election will be the most important election in history?I thought this was the last election? And so was 2020?
Pyrrhic in what way? Sometimes I see people go on about how the "Democrats blew all their war chest" but you know that can't be the case when they always find new ways of fundraising. Remember how in 2020, the vast majority of BLM donations went directly to the Democrats? Or how in this election, some of the money sent to Ukraine (voted universally by Democrats) was diverted to FTX which went to Sam Bankman who by himself spent 40 million on the Democrats? They aren't running out of money anytime soon, and they definitely aren't running out of political capital when they control the narrative and are heroic saviors of democracy and human rights. If (and as it stands right now, it’s a BIG ‘if’) Lake gets AZ and the House is secured with a slim R majority, I’ll chalk this cycle as a bittersweet victory, one I hope is ultimately super phyrric for the Democrats.
Honestly I think 2018 might've been that because it was the first conducted under whatever system the Democrats devised to ensure a repeat of 2016 never happened again. 2020 was confirmation, this is just more of the same.I thought this was the last election? And so was 2020?
