If the Republicans had wanted to actually win they would have paid more attention to what Scott Pressler was doing in Florida. Dude was going door to door about registrations a long time ago, he was putting feet to pavement and making a real effort long before elections. Yeah there were some mild efforts among Republican candidates like Zeldin campaigning to the Hasidics etc which didn't work out, but i really didn't see a national level focus on engagement the same way we saw in Florida and a lot of that was due to a guy with long hair and an autistic level of determination.
Republicans, at least the OG ones (business retirees) seem to hate the idea of this. Dems have been doing it in their areas (hell they even have the government paying for and doing it only in "select" areas, in a few states) but most reps wont do it. Millions of dollars to spend in some cases and yet not a single person doing this.
