Dude was going door to door about registrations a long time ago, he was putting feet to pavement and making a real effort long before elections. Republicans, at least the OG ones (business retirees) seem to hate the idea of this. Dems have been doing it in their areas (hell they even have the government paying for and doing it only in "select" areas, in a few states) but most reps wont do it. Millions of dollars to spend in some cases and yet not a single person doing this.

I'm just not sure on that. Trump's picks just didn't do that well, and they ones he didn't support did ok. I'm not hard core on it either way, I'll take or leave Trump. But I'm just not going to be a big supporter.

I don't think these people believe anything at all. They are genuinely NPCs with no beliefs besides what the man on the TV tells them. The far-left propaganda machine running this country might seem like an absolute joke once you've seen through it, but it's easy to forget that a huge number of people genuinely believe it. They're zombies, nothing but puppets for the people in power. That's why the struggle isn't to convince them (they're already convinced because they listened to the experts), the struggle is to convince them to actually show up and vote.

That's why when you get incendiary issues like abortion and someone as readily propagandized against like Trump involved, these zombies get worked into a frenzy that even the less political among them go out and vote.

The entire democrat strategy was elect radical trump candidates in hopes everyone elects the Dems.
Remember right now Nevada and Arizona are still in play. The whole let's back trumped backed candidates in hopes they lose bigly hasn't planned out as well as initially thought. Considering how close these elections were, and many of the candidates I'm seeing it very much end in a purple flop like 2018 except in reverse and less charitable to the Dems.

The thing about leftist NPCs is they have been programmed in the last ten years by the "message". I've met plenty of them in real life and most of them they believe in their own minds that the TV is right and you're all wrong.

Still catching up, but those greyed-out counties have almost no people living in them -- I joked like 30 houses and a couple of gas stations when I drove through there some years ago. Curious if they'll have any effect (despite being mostly R).

My theory is R wins big in places where people moved to. Texas and Florida are the big meme states where fed up republicans from NY, CA, other smaller blue states move once jobs opened up, remote work was more popular, and their lives because impossible with covid shutdowns and vaccine mandates. I know covid seems so far away in the hourly news cycle era, but it really was the defining political moment of this decade, if not our lives. Its pretty hard to forget losing your business, losing your jobs, losing 2 years of your lives while you see chads in Florida returning to normal and thriving. PA and NY? who the fuck wants to move there? As leftist cities get shittier and shittier, only the crazies want to live there and the positive feedback cycle just pushes it further into shit. Keep in mind drug stores and targets in SF were still only open until 6 up until a few months ago. This is good because there is a large population of republicans in states like CA that whine and keep giving their tax money to the leftist political machine. NV and AZ are popular destinations for them because they are close within driving distance to visit family and such.
I recently moved to NV from CA. Anecdotally I've met a lot of people who moved from CA and hate democrats like me. I see no real energy for democrats, but I also don't live in the ghetto part of town. Its pretty easy to identify how people vote here. A lot of people fly gadson flags, or are fat sheboons who still wear masks.
