I think that republicans did good considering that the media, the president, DHS, FBI, all hate you lol. Chase Oliver is a trans rights advocate. Gerhardt supports legalizing and federally regulating all drugs, therefore causing a drug kerfuffle akin to what's going on with California and the strife between legal and illegal weed growth.

You want for people to cater to libertarians at the expense of losing more hardened conservatives. This will only cause what happened in 1912, where the Republican party had split because of a divergence in core principals, and the Democrats ended up taking office.

Douglas and Lyon have not been counted which is a significant amount of solid R votes. However, Washoe county is only at 50% and I'm not sure if they've already counted Reno.

I know a lot of Libertarians, and I used to be one. This is completely anecdotal, but I'm willing to bet enough of the people who voted for Oliver in Georgia will choose Walker over Warnock in the runoff.

If JD Vance lost I would say that but by the margins he won if anything Trump has the base of the party and Ron desantis has most of the never Trumpers in his pocket. In the end they will come to a deal. The split between desantis and Trump's base is purely surface level Twitter.

You get what I mean. That gives Republicans 49 meaning they need to take two of Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona to gain a majority in the Senate. It is likely they take at least one of these. So, worst case scenario is dems narrowly holding senate and republicans taking control of the House. This means gridlock for the next two years. Best case scenario, Republicans take the Senate 52-48, the House, and have control of the Supreme Court.

I'm pleased with these results, especially considering the fight Democrats have put up to even get this far.
