What happens is they're gonna hold hearings. Just you wait until those Democrats have to go before Congress and submit to the intense scrutiny of hearings. Their hypocrisy is going to be pointed out on live TV, right on CSPAN. There will be clips on YouTube of Ted Cruz asking pithy questions and Merrick Garland stammering, looking like a total idiot. Once that happens, it's curtains for the left. Everyone will know that they're the REAL racists.
Oh yeah, we’ve seen plenty of the “intense scrutiny of hearings”. Hearings full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Hearings that serve no other purpose than to generate headlines and quotes that can be used by all involved as clickbait and to solicit donations. We’ve seen this shit before from both “sides”. There’s nothing new under the sun.

Blah blah blah. So maybe the GOP “takes back the House” and maybe makes some gains in the Senate”. What changes? I guess wasting time on J6 would be off the menu in the House after January ‘23, to be replaced with wasting time on Impeachment even though there aren’t the votes in the Senate to convict and never will be. We just get gridlock and the President ruling through Executive Action and that’s nothing new. I guess the only change is that the President gets to use the GOP-controlled House/Senate as a new boogeyman to blame for everything.

No matter which “side” wins in these “elections”, the losers are the ones who buy into this bullshit
It’ll be like from 2011-2016 where Obama got everything he wanted, it was just done via executive fiat instead of Congress. The Republicans will send sternly-worded letters to various Biden apparatchiks that will just get circularly filed. Then they drop the pretense and propose more free shit to Israel. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was…

Or like how all the votes to hurl Americans' wealth into the fires of Ukraine are unanimous.

So it looks like Republicans are going to get rekted this election.
We will have to see, but it seems like their lack of real resistance and muddled messages are not helping -- defending usury to own the libs right after dumping billions in Ukraine probably did not help as well. Now - I could be overestimating the second point however, as that reaction depends on turnout.

There is the abortion thing that was pulled off, but honestly it seems so much shit has been blowing up this year everyone has moved on from it -- which is really funny thinking about it -- considering how much people said they would care over the years if it was repealed one way or the other.

At this point, if I were campaigning for this midterm and was a republican, I would pull a Youngkin and pretty much abandon national issues to talk local issues. There is no clear national leadership and muddled messages about owning the libs won't help unless clear local policy goals are in between each line. That is not to say they can't criticize Biden, but loop it back into local issues and what will be done about it.

If Americans actually vote (rigging doesn't count) for democrats at this point, the public deserves everything that is happening 100-fold.
Biden is literally giving away free money to college kids and buy their votes.

How the fuck do you fight against that. Americans are no longer the self-resilient people of old. They are literally living off the give meh free shit.

College aged kids are predominantly democratic already. About 12% of the population has any form of student debt, with only a couple percent having above 20k. There are far more Americans getting fucked over than benefitting from this. Like I said, if they want to vote to pay off other people's debt then fuck it destroy the middle class and let them starve in the streets. They deserve it.

So what’s your take on tonight’s speech I can see the Democrats doing negative numbers after tonight

Whoever decided to have “evil speech” red on frame should really resign.

It was just biden screaming about maga and how half of the population is evil for not wanting “his democracy” same old same old
Crappy off brand insog imagery included
You want to hear something really funny? Half the voters in the US probably think their President knocked it out of the park.

It’s really easy to point out the propaganda aimed at others. It seems hamfisted to you, too on-the-nose. “A child could see it for what it is!” you think. But, of course you can see it, because it wasn’t crafted with you in mind. Recognizing the propaganda aimed at oneself, seeing THAT for what it really is, and admitting to oneself that one was once taken in by it same as those rubes on the other “side”? That’s not easy at all.

The Dem base’ll lap that speech up like a cat with heavy cream, like GOP faithful at a good ol’ fashioned Trump Rally and even if they don’t, the Media will say they did. Remember, even when they lose, they win!

Consider the fact that free shit looks good for Democrat leaders. Giving away and forgiving their shitty choices systematically is politically positive. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

Republicans meanwhile sound like lil bitches.

No Stupid Pedo (that's your name now until you stop shitting up the thread), Trump said he would choose SCOTUS justices that would over-turn Roe, then he chose supreme court justices that did exactly that. He gets credit for doing what he said he would do. The fact your brain is so broken you can't understand logic this fucking simple is not anyone's fault but your own. You lost this debate, Stupid Pedo, fuck off and stop shitting up the thread. Everyone gets you think Orange Man Bad! Move on.
Okay, so I lose the debate because "Orange Daddy said it is true therefore it's true."
Jesus, go find a room @Mothra1988 @Save the Loli
Here I thought something interesting had happened.
By all means, please move these posts to Mass Debates and give me a better place to remind the Trump simp he's wrong. I don't even address half the points he makes because he's more focused on digging up my post history.

I don't think Ukraine will play into this in any way since the brainwashing from both the MSM and neocons like Hannity has been very effective and few people besides Tucker Carlson and Rand Paul are calling it out.

I think it will still hurt the Republicans among moderates given how they refuse to accept compromise on that issue and how well the media has been at spinning the issue. Like nobody likes the crazy pro-abortion protestors and California-style abortion worship, but "no abortions period because muh babiez and muh Jebus" isn't a winner either. Americans overwhelmingly oppose total bans on abortion, especially moderates. I think it's especially bad since it's one of the few things the Republican Party has a clear, consistent message on.

I would also add the Republicans need to work CRT/those disgusting books aimed for preteens in schools back into the news cycle somehow, especially since the school year is starting. That seems to be very popular because normies hate hearing about their kids being called racists or having to read books going on about the wonders of gay sex and chemical castration.

I can't tell if the left gaslighting is demoralizing me or if Republicans are doing it themselves, because I am becoming less convinced they can win this. I think the GOPE want the Dem to win.
Lmao, they always have. That is the function of the republican party, to lose ground for their voters even when they win. This is deliberate. This is liberal democracy. This is what they mean when they say "our democracy".

But it goes beyond the parties. It's a worldview who's purpose is to give the impression that you can't love your nation with its people AND want to use the government to improve that nation and people. By the choices it provides you, you must either hate the country OR hate the government. Never shall it cross the minds of the people that they have the right to use the power of government for themselves, and thereby that a parasitic international clique deserves no quarter.

(Worse, the Republican is conditioned to believe that the government can do nothing, which is so stupid the libertarians have adopted it as a virtue.)
