I'm unenthusiastic about the midterms because while the Democrats solicit donations to win elections, the Republicans only win elections insofar as it helps them solicit donations. That hasn't really changed since 2016, but it seems to be moving in the right direction.

She's cute. I think Trump should just back a bunch of hotties and get shit popping.
Good lord.

When's the last time Dems ran a legitimately attractive woman? And I don't mean a 3 or a 4 who's only "hot" because she's under 80 and weighs less than 200 lbs.

I do wonder of the Democrats will have a succession crisis. A lot of their political clout is caught up in geriatrics approaching death's door. They don't really have a lot of likable public faces to succeed them do they?

Then again neither do Republicans and I stopped keeping my fingers crossed the neocons get subverted by MAGA populists a while ago.

Sober liberals discuss this fairly frequently if you know where to look. The TL;DR is that Hillary kneecapped every-up-and-coming Democrat she could and turned the entire organization into her personal political vehicle so that she'd ascend to office in 2016.

They also have a tiny little problem with having gotten high on their own supply and trying to rebuild their party out of freaks and retards. Charismatic, intelligent political operators just aren't usually gap-toothed black women or fat, elderly crossdressers.

That's my favorite bit about the modern Democrat Party. You have the typical politician who's just grifting for their fortune, then you have the squad that needs tardwrangled, then you have the nuts who would literally burn the country down of it meant trooning kids out and banning guns.

The only thing holding them together is the power high and it can't last forever. It's anyone's guess when the internal political fighting will begin in full force but I expect it won't be around until the higher ups die off or retire finally.

I think that'll be fun because these people all have dirt on each other and they'll selectively leak it into the media/call up their FBI buddies for a sting when they need to destroy a political enemy like poor Anthony Wiener.

There's a bit more about fraud in Wisconsin.

Now the GOP voters in more than half of the counties in Wisconsin are calling for the decertification of the 2020 Election results in Wisconsin.

It’s official. The GOP voters in Wisconsin for more than half of the state are calling for the decertification of the 2020 Election results in the state. This news was passed around on social media this weekend.

The people in Wisconsin are like those across the nation who are livid because of the obviously tainted results that were certified for senile Joe Biden in the 2020 Election. Numerous fraudulent activities have been uncovered to date and the number keeps on growing as does the number of individuals who are calling for decertification.

God, I hope you’re right. That faggot Robert O’Rourke is extremely bad news for Texas. I’m fully expecting him to get a massive dem turnout solely based on “muh abortions” and “muh troon kids”. Conveniently covering for the fact that he has absolutely no policies at all other than “grab the guns, open the border”

Why do Dems like Beta O'Rourke so much? They felted a PEEOHSEE WAHMEN in favor of him.
they probably have video evidence of him fucking then killing a kid like every other politician in america
He was caught drunk driving and fleeing the scene of a DUI-caused-auto-accident back in the day in his home district. Not exactly a big secret but the DCCC is probably always running cover for him if that’s one of the more public skeletons in his closet. Source here

There’s also stronk rumors that he had voted for landgrabs utilizing eminent domain while he was in city council; not just to build a dumb gay babydick sized minor league baseball stadium but because his father in law is cohencidentally a land developer and a lot of the land confiscated by the county ended up getting redeveloped into gay globohomo venues/buildings/attractions to keep bringing more faggy carpetbaggers to the city. Also the military base is supposedly a big ass vehicle that helps to cook the books to make the city more prosperous than it seems to attract more out of staters- - bearing that in mind, I’ve heard that you can’t find one city council member who isn’t on the take

>tl;dr: he tries to dress and act like RFK but all he’s good at is drunk driving like Ted Kennedy

Beta O’Rourke’s greatest disadvantage is pretending to be a Mexican. His only base is the hipster transplants from Austin and that’s about it. The good news is that this will be the end of his career after this loss: a failed senate candidate, failed presidential candidate, and soon a failed gubernatorial candidate. He’s being sent out to have his career finally taken out behind the woodshed.

Disclaimer, I'm Canadian, so my opinion on American Politics doesn't matter for shit - I've got popcorn stockpiled for the day the Democrat Party starts to fracture. The ones that are just in it for the grift, ironically, might come out the most unscathed, but thats compared to the crazies. This is a party held together by duct tape and spite, that got in almost entirely off of "Orange Man Bad" - was the election illegitimate, I don't know, but they honestly couldn't've made it look any less sketchy as fuck. The second they lose power, those faults are liable to fully go, and much like the rest of American Politics, it'll at least be amusing to watch.

There haven't been any serious party fractures since the Progressive era nearly a century ago when both Republicans and Democrats had huge infighting between progressive politicians and the traditional business class plus were losing a ton of votes to various socialist parties (including the Eugene Debs one or the ancestor of the Minnesota DFL Party back when it was a national party and wasn't just a bunch of particularly retarded Democrats). I guess the Dixiecrat split was something, but they were pretty much still Democrats and most ended up joining the Republican Party anyway.

I think you'd just get both parties swapping ideologies again, where the Democrats truly become the party of big business and upper middle class elite who tell poor people to pull themselves up by the bootstraps while the Republicans get more economically left. This won't be Republicans passing out gibs to blacks and illegals, but it would be a lot of economic nationalism and subsidies that benefit (traditional) families, small business, and rural areas.

A distant third option is some faction leaving and taking over an existing third party and making it a competitive opponent rather than "lucky to get ballot access every election". Probably this would either be RINOs restoring their utter dominance and populists taking over the Constitution Party or the DSA/progressives joining the Green Party to throw a wrench into the establishment Dems. I've even heard the Libertarians mentioned because they're attracting so many Democrat-lite types like Jo Jorgensen and people who don't like either party but are more or less liberals. Personally I want this to happen since it's easier to just burn down the shitty system if we add a few new parties, and hopefully throw one of the old two parties in the dustbin with the Whigs (where they belong given how much shit they've both pulled over the years).

Democrats aren’t going to fracture. Midterm elections have always been anti-incumbent for decades. The only exception was 2002 when it was post-9/11 and the nation was gearing up to go to war with Iraq. Even then Republicans only made minor gains. I understand a lot of people here just got into politics since 2016 so they are grossly overestimating this “red wave” in terms of size or impact. Usually what happens is Democrats just do what they want anyway except it’ll be done via executive fiat. Unlike Trump, there won’t be random ass judges in Honolulu who will file nationwide injunctions either.

Yeah, instead it's a random ass judge in Wyoming or Texas. Same shit happens with Joepedo's executive orders like his vaxx mandate.

At this rate, will Beta O'Rourke apply for a job of comedian at SNL? :story:

Red wave is cope, but I'd love to be wrong.

I can't wait, and am glad you leafs are enjoying the show as well. If the collapse of CNN ratings post-Trump are anything to go by it will be glorious.

I’ve said it before, compared to Canadian Politics - where before the Honkening I don’t think anyone up here even gave a single, solitary shit about Canadian Politics - you guys are practically a blood sport.

Much more amusing to watch.

Are you in another country or are you being serious?

Their hope of ever getting anything passed legislatively might be knee-capped for 15-20 years or something, which is what survives changes in adminstration. Getting destroyed in congress isn't a laughing matter, and the president and his second in command look like literal sitting ducks. The Democrats are fucked now.

In fact, I think it's so bad right now we might be in due for a paradigm shift on the woke shit. The media can only tell normals what to think for so long. It'll take a long ass time for the Dems to live this term down since people will immediately associate them with economic hardship. The Dems basically took "it's the economy stuipd" from the 90s, set it on fire and shoved it up the voters' collective asses. They're pretty much space aliens with how out of touch they are right now.
