In some ways they may have done Trump a favor by banning his Twitter.
It’s absolutely a net benefit. It keeps is idiotic tweets out of view of normies, while not actually restricting his communication with his supporter base, which he now does through e-mail news-letters.

It’s really funny how TPTB just keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Yeah, but now they can blame it on some dude who just invaded a sovereign nation in his own wannabe Iraq War moment. And it's working since I keep seeing buildings lit up in the Ukrainian flag colors.

I think even if you're pro-choice like I am, there's so many more important issues you'd have to insane to vote blue.

Well that is where the fun begins, but open terrorism would be one more failed election later. Hopefully. Personally in the worst case scenario, I don't want terrorism, but open revolution, with governors in the South and Midwest making a new confederacy to restore the United States as it should be.
I mean I'm realistic I think something like that would lead to more problems vs less sadly. You know that an America collapsed would immediately be divided by other powers to prevent the US from becoming an empire again like with china.

That's literally what they tried with the USSR, and even after the Yeltsin years, they failed since most of the former USSR is still in the Russian orbit with inconclusive color revolutions out the wazoo (look at Belarus and Kazakhstan lately).

Plus I'm in like a D+30 district so it doesn't matter.
It does matter, remember that a Republican truck driver with 300 bucks of donut money won in New Jersey, against the incumbent Democrat. Even if it's an idiot candidate that loses, it forces the Democrats to burn money that they don't have. That money spent to defend your +30 district might make the difference in a neutral or +5D area, since they're so strapped for cash.

Just saying.

Remember the based New Jersey gym owner who defied the governor's lockdown by staying open? Well now he's running for Congress against Andy Kim, the incumbent masktard pictured below.

He had also been in the news again last year for offering free memberships to unjabbed customers.

New Jersey Gym Owner Who Defied Lockdown Orders Running for Congress

I've followed him since he was first kicking in that plywood over the door.

He's got the most actual backbone and chance to be a "for the people" politician I've seen in ages. He needs to reel it in and grow up a bit though. Trim that beard to the point that it's not some weird peacocking affectation and he needs to stop posting shit like weights not put back and saying things like "Pick up your fucking weights, I'm not your mom!"

Basically if he could modify his energy and grow up a bit I'd love to see him get a run.

Quote of the Era

"Our mission in 2022 and 2024 is to take on this radical and power hungry ruling class and to deliver them an electoral defeat so resounding that they are exiled into political oblivion never ever to return again."

~ President Donald John Trump at CPAC, February 26
Texas Primaries are today and I'm not very hopeful. Trump almost unilaterally endorsed everyone in office except Crenshaw and one rep that voted with Liz Cheney on things. Would of been nice for there to have been an endorsed candidate against those people, and especially a Rally in Houston to try and get the one eyed Glownig out.

I'm voting blanket against the incumbents all the way down though, even if I don't think anyone is getting replaced, I at least would like the Texas GOP scared and on their best behavior.

That's some real Jordan Peterson energy there. He should tell Andy Kim to clean his room.

Trump's strategy since January 2021 has been to avoid all-out war against the GOP. He doesn't want to take on figures like Marco Rubio, Greg Abbott, et cetera, but he will take on people who went even farther in cuckery like Adam Kinzinger (already retiring), Liz Cheney, the Senators who votes for impeachment like Bill Cassidy (not up until 2026 though).

I suspect his calculation is that if he takes on too many Republicans, all the infighting will lead to Democrats winning and/or Republican politicians not backing him up or even siding against him in legal battles.

It makes total sense and I cut a rambling paragraph speculating asking similar lines.

I guess I'm just disappointed I'm not in a meaningful State for even intra party conflicts.

Any thoughts on the outcome? Crenshaw seems to skated by with no harm but Taylor seems to have taken some damage from Trump. Overall republican turnout is way more than the dem turnout.

Sucks Crenshaw won, but he has a recognizable name and look. Most boomers don't know about his neoconic shit or tend to support red flag laws and endless wars.

Abbot managed to get more votes than all the Democrats and the Republicans got almost twice as many votes as the Democrats. Still don't expect Dems to try shady things as Mexicans somehow manage to show up at the polls come voting day

I've decided, since redistricting is already mostly done, to post a prediction for the House, assuming 2022 is an R+9 year.

The thing is that Democrats did okay with redistricting but not as good as they would like. in AZ and Colorado, the independent commission passed maps that net the GOP 3-5 seats in those two states. In New Mexico and Nevada, they passed AWFUL dummymanders that due to long term trends could result in a 4-0 GOP delegation in NV and a 2-1 delegation in New Mexico. In FL, there are possibilities that Desantis, due to his veto power, successfully pushes his map which makes Florida go from 16-11 Republican to 21-7 republican. NY, Illinois and California passed really bad gerrymanders that net the Democrats a couple seats overall but the effect of these maps on the House is overblown.
Fivethirtyeight says that the Democrats gained a net 12 seats due to redistricting but really its more like 2-3 according to Cook Political Report.

Dr. Oz is a complete phony btw... they better find someone else ASAP:

And finally the coup de grâce - feast your eyes on his 2010 TV episode, "Transgender Kids: Too Young to Decide?"

Dr. Oz episode on TransKids.mp4

In light of my earlier post quoted above, get a load of this - the grifter is now being interviewed on the "Clay and Buck" radio program where so far it's just been a bunch of softball questions.

Responding to a question on how he would describe his political philosophy, he says:
"I'm a conservative Republican, always have been." :story:

To anyone who thinks there won't be massive "fortifications" especially with the Russia situation:

I'm amazed they aren't already calling Republicans/conservatives/Trumpers/etc a fifth column for Putin's fourth Reich
