I think people sometimes forget that Toby is a pussy and would NEVER even dream of writing something genuinely degenerate and shocking like this. Now maybe if we were talking about Radiation? Maybe. But Toby Foxy? Yeah, no, never gonna happen.

Most of the time outrageous theories like this are made jokingly because on some level people know Toby would never. But then there's always a retard or two who actually thinks he would for some reason.

I started chapter 4 and so far the use of a church is..interesting it's clearly his own monster verse version of religion, sanitized so as not offend any actual denominations..even though it clearly draws from protestant Christianity....very cute Toby but you'll never be 1000002915.jpg

The fact that the legend of Deltarune is a whole ass religion unorincally makes so that the prophecy is known to everyone in hometown but Susie and the player.
It also makes Lord of the Hammer less of a parallel to Lotr and more Chronicles of Narnia.

The prophecy mentions 3 heroes and an angel, I have no clue of what the angel actually does, but I feel like it was kept vague for a reason, and I feel that its tied to how the prophecy ends.

Regard old testament figures, they were mainly jews most of the actions committed by holy figures gets analyzed by theologists and scholars alike to study for meaning and symbolysm.
You'd be suprised to know how many christians saints were just regular people that died an awful death by the hand of the jews for believing in Jesus Christ and/or committed themselves to a life of altruism and self-sacrifice, they're meant to provide an example to most common devotees, thus you are meant to pray them in order to gain protection.
Since the prophecy was turned into a reliigion, the angel could easily be a more direct parallel to God or Christ, while the 3 heroes could be saints.

Kris is a yellow chinky asian. The only reason there are still cats and dogs in Deltarune town is because his teeth have all been substituted with plastic replicas that can't harm the animals. Japanoids draw him as white because they cannot perceive the yellow pigmentation of their own skin.
