I remember reading in a 4chan that leaving it blank/putting 0 gives out "so, she never smiled?" As a response, dunno if it's true or if it's still possible to confirm it.

Noelle's attraction to Susie is kinda weird because it's probably at least in part predicated on the fact that Susie reminds her of Dess. Which isn't really that weird when you consider how teenage trauma-based psychology works, but it'll feel weird if it's never addressed.

Sigh...I hate that there's fag shit in the game. I kind of forgot about it

Really sucks because id love my niece (11) to play some of it and see some of the more silly stuff and epicness of the story but I cant because the epic shit is interrupted by homo pedo stuff

What are your image_Friend theories?
Some theories portray it as a faustian bargain demon, exchanging love for money/success, in others he's an aspect of Kris's mind, either a suppressed memory or a deep fear given form, there's also a theory that he holds a grudge agains't Noelle for being an amalgamation of all her discarded cats.
My baseless theory: a dark fountain was opened in the Holiday home, and image_friend was given form. Kris saw the grotesque deformed fusion of all the cats Noelle discarded and it traumatized him. It would explain the special glitched egg and the egg man, connecting friend to both Noelle and Kris. Since friend hates Noelle for making it an aberration, he took Dess away forever.
But I didn't play the other chapters so this theory must have many plot holes.

I believe Friend is just a funny doodle that you are only meant to pog face at when it shows up, like Every man.
 
Super Mario RPG (snes version) is probably the only solid rec that really holds up. There's a lot of extremely similar humor and afaik literally nothing gender-related at all beyond a sendup of 1920s betty boop whose boobs jiggle when she takes damage.

re: image_friend, I'd guess we're going to get a parallel to the lab from Undertale (likely the bunker) except instead of being concerned with the extraction of souls this one's all about injecting souls into vessels. Would make sense for it to just be something that escaped when the lab opened as a cat parallel to endogeny and make sense for it to show up at random assuming Kris also came from that lab.
