I still can't believe that Toriel sat in a chair for the entire chapter and Undyne was pretty much an I.O.U.
Toby supposedly has it all planned out but we're already reaching Tintin levels of stupid cliffhangers.

At this point I swear Toby follows the most popular fan theories and rewrites the story specifically to make sure they don’t happen.

For example, the idea that “Kris manipulates Toriel into killing Undyne in the Chapter 3 Snowgrave route” actually made a lot of sense. You’d want to eliminate the police before they can interrogate you after killing (?) your classmate. But instead, all we got in Chapter 3 were a bunch of shitty minigames.

It’s a shame, because Hello Neighbor already did this. It went from universal praise at the demo stage to a schizophrenic mess with universally negative reviews by the time it was finished. All because the devs wanted to epically prove MatPat's game theories wrong
 
Deltarune fans are pretty weird. Why are they so defensive about this mediocre game? The mere hint of criticsm is enough make them feel the need to defend it viciously.
A youtuber named Fennekin Fox something made a series of videos shitting on Deltarune, and the fans got pissed. That is expected, but what is weird about it is that the comment section needed to convince itself that the video was ragebait, almost as if they couldn't properly cope with the fact someone said the game was shit, so they had to imagine it was purely made to piss people off.
Even people who make "respectful" critiques of the game need to walk around eggshells to not incite the tard horde. Speaking of that, There's very little critique of this game, it's just treated like an undisputed masterpiece by the youtubers who make content on it, and the entire discussion around the game becomes an echo chamber of blind praise.

His videos are hilarious if only because content as brazen as what he made is so rare nowadays, especially in a community that worships troons and demonizes dissenting voices.

In case of Fennekin Fox, it was an immune response to the chud entering "their" territory

The funny thing is that misinterpreting the wilted rose would have sent an arguably stronger and more positive message since the game is pretty clear on giving you shit for grooming a girl into a murderer. And there's still room to read into the symbolism differently which is what art is about.
