I always thought giving Kris so many homo options and easter eggs in ch1 and ch2 was a bit fucked up.
Based on the amount the Ralsei Tea heals him, it's clear he doesn't start warming up to Ralsei and seeing him as someone that isn't a clone of his brother until after the boat ride.
"It's nice that Ralsei is Ralsei" you don't say that to someone unless they look someone else.
