I still don't understand the joke behind Elnina and Lanino's sneezing habit. At least it seems like it was supposed to be funny.

One of tenna's flavortexts is "It's plugged in, but dusty". Maybe it's the dust?
Maybe it's a seasonal allergy reference???
Maybe it’s that Nipponese superstition that says when you sneeze, someone’s talking about you

Or maybe Ch3's writing sucks ass

Plot twist: He does, but it's by revealing that Kris is female at the last minute.
Would I, a certified KrusieGigachad™ be okay with this outcome? 🤔
I mean I hate fag shit, but it would lead to a bunch of deltatroons killing themselves because Kris isn't a heckin' nb.
But it probably wouldn't have much of an effect as one would hope because "omg girlboss".
Still, a lot would die.

Hmm... Genuinely a fucking tough one...

It still counts as lesbian fetish, so he's gonna be beaten into a pulp
Okay I've decide I won't beat him to a pulp, but I will certainly drive the anon in the post to his house.
lol

Not too fond of my favorite little teen cretin being a carpet muncher, but if it's still Krusie, I'll allow it.
I mean, one could say moss is a form of carpet. The most natural of carpets even. Kris eating moss is perhaps an indicator of this.
Krusie being finalized in the form of an interspecies carpet munching duo would be the most plausible way for Tony to confirm it.

it's ok if it's susie, i think that's what everyone agrees on

this is as compelling as the fifty five citations for kris being a they/them. i kneel

...I think this Kris/Susie ship might legit be one of the least toxic ships I've seen, given how even KF is discussing it. Not exactly complaining, mind; nice to see some positivity here.

Their relationship is great and makes the most sense, I could gush about it but there's no point; everybody agrees.

Im hoping that Toby "Dyke Enthusiast" Fox ends Suselle with Noelle realizing that Susie is just a goofball and not the cool mysterious badass she thought she was, but they still remain great friends. That feels like the most natural way for it to go.

Hell, I don't really want Kris and Susie to get romantic I just want them to keep being best buddies because they rock.

Careful, it's a slippery slope. Besides, Kris is a teenage boy. No matter what soy guzzlers screech
This.
In complete honesty I'd rather just have no fucking romance than Suselle. While I don't typically care for romance, especially involving teenage characters because I'm not an autistic teenager anymore, it becomes extra obnoxious when it's clearly poorly written bullshit to pander and or push an agenda like Suselle clearly is.
Like I said before, not only do Susie and Noelle have no genuine chemistry but again they've literally never even met before the game's events on top of her being obsessed with a fictional version of Susie that only exists in her mind. Noelle would have more believable chemistry with Kris of all people due to their childhood history just like how Kris and Susie have more chemistry because not only are they seemingly likeminded but they now have a decent enough amount of time together for it to be believable and not just seem like pandering slop.
My main issue as autistic as it sounds is that it's bad writing and doesn't make any sense.

But if the romance subplot was completely 100% removed I would not miss it, nor would I care that much. I just want it to make sense or be gone. Get your fucking carpet muncher propaganda out of my face.

Proper chemistry is important for any healthy relationship; Kris and Susie have it in spades, what with the development that the prior chapters have given them both. Meanwhile, Noelle in general has the personality of a cardboard box, with her entire ideal of Susie being essentially fictional. The only reason why it has any traction at all is because modern writers/audiences tend to confuse faggotry with actual character.

Hell, I'm tired of romance in general; give me a healthy friendship or two in any modern setting.

^Also this.

No no, I agree. Or it’s at least close enough the main issue. Even if one of the genders were swapped, it’s still a bad ship because, as everyone else has said, they have no chemistry. Romance in any story, let alone a game, is very much a “do it right or don’t do it at all” sort of thing, and making Suselle canon would show that Toby cares more about his fetishes than about his characters.

How about this: Noelle confesses to Susie at the festival, who doesn’t know how to respond, then dark world shenanigans immediately interrupt them. Susie confides with Kris later in the chapter about her conflicting emotions because of course she would go to him, who else? Kris can’t/won’t tell Susie what to do, and Susie decides that she doesn’t feel that way about Noelle right now, but she’s still open to the possibility of Noelle somehow winning her over, which she accepts. While reflecting on all this, Susie realizes just how much she trusts Kris, gets confused about her feelings again, then casually decides it’ll all work itself out.

There - a safe, fence-sitting series of events that doesn’t fully satisfy anyone but won’t make anyone too upset, either.
