The Gaster door being in color is activating my neurons something fierce. Just keep thinking of the "copies are monochrome" thing from Man Country in Ch3.

I don't like these exclusives only present in missable streams and what not, including social network stuff like Twitter. It would be fine if it was separate from the games, but Toby Dog already included stuff from these streams in the chapters.

I dunno, I kinda view it in the same light as the hidden website pages like 'new girl'.
Little additions to the lore are okay, but massive loredumps or retcons would be something I'd be against.

I've actually noticed a lot of people have been expecting an update to Undertale at some point.
Although 99% of them want/assume it'll be related to some Deltarune crossover.

Maybe that's what the name is related to. If you want the normal version, you type in whatever name you want, but if you want this version you name your character togore.

I don't think Toby would change the game in any meaningful way so it doesn't change the user experience, but that doesn't stop me from wishing he would. I want to poke around in the ruins.

Also the stream during the Hotlands High School bit was really funny

An update to Undertale that doesn't change Undertale's story at all, yet can provide even the tiniest of crumb relating to Deltarune mysteries would be nice. That kind of already happened with the switch version of Undertale with clamgirl and all that, so why not? It would be fun.
Come on Toby, I know you know that your fans are a bunch of schizos that love mysteries. Feed us!
 
The trannies were freaking out earlier because Toby called Napstablook a he after the fight.

I don't know if he slipped up with the other characters, but you can tell he noticed and thought "oh shit" since he went out of his way to address it on the second stream.

Then he pulls up the design document a few hours later that refers to Napstablook as a dude :story:

extra room revealed the war wasn't a one-sided race war. Also was Gerson revealing that monsters don't age unless they have kids in the vanilla version, or was also new?
