Why do you think in battles, it still refers to Kris's actions as "your/you.? "Your short on breath, your heart it ponding." Examples in the chapter 3 fight, when we are already will aware we are not Kris.
Also, is Deltarune the first game to have a character aware they're being controlled and they hate you? I know Oneshot and Bravely Default are aware but the characters are indifferent to you.

We're... in Kris's body, he's our vessel. Kris's breath IS your breath, his heart IS your heart. When people talk to "you" they're talking to you the player just as much as they re talking to Kris.

Yes, he actually made a song for them even. But as soon as the game became the punching bag of the internet Toby deleted his shill tweet and proceeded to never, ever, talk about YIIK again. Kind of funny.

I haven't played it myself but I did watch some of it the other day. Some of my friends were like "Oh my god dude, it's so fucking good, you have to play it." and all I saw was this gay little shota running around in RPG Maker and it had that annoying "I'm depressed" atmosphere that always feels like it's trying way too hard. I guess in the worst ending like half the cast kill themselves? It seemed pretentious and gay to me, I dunno. I'm an Undertale fag and I draw the line at sad anime boys killing themselves en-masse. Lisa is the better depression game.

Don't forget he is the sole human in the town, or that suspiciously the church ended up wrecked when he snuck into it when it was closed...

If Dess was also human then surely Noelle would be more scared about Kris specifically rather than being frightened of humans in general, especially given Dess was also the person that would smack the shit out of Kris for teasing Noelle to begin with.

Noelle would also have spent significantly more time with her sister than with "the creepy kid" she hung out with sometimes because their parents were friends from college.

Don't forget that Noelle likes scary things. She can be scared of and still love her sister.
