so if you lived in deltarune as a lightner can you just destroy the world whenever you want?
all you have to do is stab the ground with willpower over and over till titans show up
No wonder they tried to keep it a secret

Shizo-Theory of mine, but I don't think this is how it really works.
The real darkness has an to date unknown source located underground inside the shelter that runs a tunnel system under the whole city, and stabbing the ground just sorta opens a small way for it to leak overground. Normally, when there wouldn't be darkness in the shelter, you couldn't create a fountain just by stabbing the ground.

Someone give ne a tl;dr of Yiik

Like, get a grip, Ralsei.
When even the coom artists think it's gone too far... The flanderization has gone too far 1ffbd3e5345717e49ecee466d0fbd7cd.webp Artist is lumineko, please don't ask why I know deltacoom artists

I don't mind the lyrics change, in fact I think it's a good foreshadowing that everything that comes out of this goat's mouth is a lie with the excuse of "keeping it family friendly", including the fake prophecy that we learn in Chapter 1.

I still subscribe to "ralsei has ulterior motives" theory, for example this fucker could float this whole time and we didn't see it until he was running from a Titan. Susie's crashout in Ch4 was 100% valid and he tried to emotionbait by crying like a bitch instead of telling the truth at once. Also he keeps talking to Kris behind our back all the time.

Actually, I think Temmie just really hates animating walk/run cycles. Go through undertale and deltarune and take a shot of a drink of your choice every time an npc is either totally stationary or just slides around with no animation whatsoever. You'll die of liver failure.

What's our thoughts on Susie's living conditions? I'm thinking her parent(s?) or whatever her legal guardian is, is probably the t-rated equivalent of abusive or neglectful alcoholics going by the way she reacted to drunk Toriel. She basically ran away from home for the past two days. Think she's going to show up beat to shit on the morning of chapter 5? Or is this going to be the standard Toby Fox subversion and it turns out she's from a wealthy family, and she's just neglected and maladjusted?

Toby must have some parental issues. Both known dads, Asgore and Rudy are essentially absent in their kids' lives, and the mothers are either clueless or control freaks. I didn't like Toriel to begin with, and her boozing with the boneman did not do her any favors.

Susie is probably one of those kids who gets away from a bad home situation by always being at a friends' place, except before this week she never had any friends. I doubt her parents beat her, but I'm betting she is a victim of neglect.

Toby's IRL parents are still together, so I don’t know where he got the idea for the pemadivorced parents. A workaholic father and a helicopter mother are the norm for upper middle class New Englanders, nothing out of the ordinary there.

I think he’s really good at writing characters and making you emotionally relate to them, and that’s that.
