what if kris without the soul counts as an inanimate object and the reason he cant enter the dark world without it is because hed become a darkner
Is a corpse an inanimate object? Cause I think Kris is in a weird sort of life and death limbo and we are the only thread tethering them to the light world. Dead people for all we know could be titans or part of them, and that could be what the other side is. Im getting schizo again. I feel like there is a theme of the fear of death or tragedy thats going on but still not really sure
I feel like he would put undead in his game or the fear of the undead, amalgams of human souls maybe?
Chapter 4 implies it's just the lighting, which is why they change colors in Susie's dark worldI had a running theory that the dark worlds show a "truth" of an object to some degree, and Kris turns cyanotic blue because he's essentially a walking corpse animated by a foreign soul. I don't think he's actually a zombie. More conceptually.
He definitely can't survive without us though. In Noelle's house, after he puts the soul back in, he collapses and has to compose himself for a second. Seems like he couldn't handle that level of activity for very long without the soul.
I see, and it turns Susie pink because she thinks pepto bismol is an energy drink.I had a running theory that the dark worlds show a "truth" of an object to some degree, and Kris turns cyanotic blue because he's essentially a walking corpse animated by a foreign soul. I'm not sure, I read that more as removing the soul like that takes a toll on his body. Removing/inserting it like that was too much for him, and that's just the first time we see it.He definitely can't survive without us though. Noelle is actually able to equip some swords. Notably the black shard (trait of the family, I guess) and the jingle sword (the weapon made from the pen you can take from her home). Why do people believe that Noelle is the girl in the prophecy with the sword? I don't see any antlers on that image and it clearly looks like Susie, big barney nose and everything. I see people talk about it like it's fact.
The girl from Ralsei’s version of the prophecy is clearly Susie, but the actual prophecy is more vague. But as for points against it being Susie:Why do people believe that Noelle is the girl in the prophecy with the sword? To add, Gerson thinking Susie should have "the pen" - the sword, which Susie corrects him with saying that's what Kris has, and she thinks hers is "a hairbrush", which at least a version of the axe is in the light world, with the swords clearly being shown as pens/pencils. Gerson is working off of what he thinks the prophecy is, and it doesn't line up with the fun gang as is.The girl from Ralsei’s version of the prophecy is clearly Susie, but the actual prophecy is more vague. But as for points against it being Susie:
There’s some other stuff like how we can always order Noelle around but Susie is able to disobey us and defy the prophecy, but those are the main points.
- The “big barney nose” is much higher up and looks more like the lip of a cloak, like Noelle’s dark world cloak.
- The girl has a sword. Susie can’t equip swords, but Noelle can.
- The way the prophecy talks about the female hero followed by “at last was the girl” (complete with Rude Buster symbol) implies they’re two different people.
- “LOVE FINDS ITS WAY TO THE GIRL” could mean the girl from the prophecy falls in love… or it could mean LOVE (Level of Violence) takes control of the girl, which fits perfectly with us taking control of Noelle in the weird route. The picture even shows a heart on the girl, like the soul inside Noelle.
